First, thanks Brdcsttech and others for the info on the fortune cookie condo. What an experience. I mean in a bad sense. Only thing that I liked about it was the distance from my house.

I can confirm what B-bull said is true. I know of 3 AMPs where I go to that are either owned by, run by, or staffed with Chinese people of Korean descent.

The other night as I was walking out of my favorite place after a wonderful and glorious FS session, I passed by mamasan who was studying a thick-ass book with small prints: Chinese/Korean/English tri-lingual dictionary.

I RTFF'd some more and found to the place of Royalty. Ian's advise was right. Hana was just what I needed today. Spinner out to please.All the standard fare was nicely attended to. During the Veterans Day weekend just past, I ventured up to a nice place near Dupont Circle and saw Ruby twice. What a treat! One of the sweetest, most delightful and entertaining women I have met in quite a while. Her only drawback, and it's a small one, is that she really likes to look at herself in the mirror.

Visited 1333 friday night and mamasan asked me if it was my 1st time there. I reacted and said yes. The 1st girl sent to me had to be in late 40s, I told her I wanted to speak with mamasan whom had already collected the standard house fee. oh, no. Having Mary Cheh involved in shutting down the spas does not bode well for any spa in the city, particularly ones in Ward 3 (represented by Mary Cheh). I respect her as an attorney and professor, and she does take a liberal view on many issues (e.g., see her successful efforts in bending Pepco's arms to institute domestic partner benefits).

However, it seems her views on the spas are more aligned with her more well-heeled, conservative constituents in NW. The particular problem with Mary Cheh being involved is that she is essentially an expert on constitutional and criminal law, and the use of exisiting civil, rather than criminal laws to shut the spas down (think asset forfeiture and possible landlord liability for renting his property to a "nuisance" ). Unfortunately, it seems like the spas are open to attack now on both civil and criminal fronts.

Still, (wishful thinking, I know) I'm holding out that Prof. Cheh will be open to changing her mind on the spas, noting the particular lack of "nuisance" created by the spas (lets not get into a debate on that pesky "human trafficking" argument). Perhaps, she may even be persuaded by the argument that shutting down the spas provides yet one less stress relief outlet for the endless supply of lawyers that her and her colleagues pump out every year. My friends tell me its not easy to sneak an escort into your office these days!

1700 assumes they see about 7 people a day. They do not, unless it is a very busy spa.
They also do not make 100.00 per customer. Some do not tip, some tip 5, 10, 20... etc.
If they get 30 days off in a row that is rare, most of the spa rotate the girls for 1 week vacation, so if there are 6 girls they get 1 week off every 6 weeks.
Typically they do not get the house money (from the 70, or 80 we pay for the 1hr) for the week after their return from vacation, as pay back for the lost revenue from their absence.

Your numbers are high, in a busy BJ or FS place a girl may make 100k, if she works hard, has alot of regulars who tip good. They need this income for 3-5 years then they return home, and most hope to start some kind of business with what is saved after paying for all the family expenses.

This nail place is conveniently located for me, so I thought I'd give it a shot. It is indeed a standard nail salon, but with a room in the back for massage. I asked for Lisa, who was pretty decent looking by AMP standards. It was $40 for a half hour; she asked for $40 for HR.

She asked a couple questions to check me out. I did a little roaming hands to reassure her. Massage was just okay. She was friendly and perhaps things might improve on a repeat visit. The other downside is that you're in the back room of a real nail salon, with some civilian woman out front getting a pedicure. But the price and location was right for a quickie.
