I went to Han-Sol/Happiness yesterday around 2:15pm. Very convenient for a workday escape. When I get there I climb up the steps and push the door open but it is padlocked and chained from the inside! WTF?!

This is a busy area; Tour bus, tourists, etc. The noise attracted attention so I shrugged my shoulders and turned to leave. Now it gets weird. As I am crossing the street the young black girls with the tour bus shirts on start screaming at me! "SIR! SIR! This one is open. Go in here". They are pointing to a door down by their little stand. What the Fuck?! I can't imagine the AMP is asking these girls to steer business to them. At least not like this! I just waved them off and kept walking in the opposite direction.

Does anyone know what is going on? Are both spots now closed? Did Royal open back up? Happiness is certainly closed.

As for 14K, there has been at least one review of LE activity there, so they might be closed. I haven't been by in a while, so not sure.

For "that place on Vermont", it used to be Downtown, and was a great place to go, until they had to close for good after one too many busts. Now it is exactly what you described -- an overpriced HJ place. The rest of DC is much better.

If you try 14K again and they're closed, try checking out Rio over in the U Street area. It's just as good if not better, and you can grab a beer afterwards at one of the nearby bars.

Is there a reason that this incident has to be kept such a secret? Honestly, I want to know what the reason is. What's the worst that can happen if you just let the rest of us know what happened? Perhaps someone going in or out before or after the incident can contribute. They did this once successfully, what's to stop them from doing it again? Are we just going to keep acting like little girls and keep it a secret? It's pretty asinine.

Took a double journey to Jasmine and 2nd floor M today. This stuff about a raid is hogwash according to mama. The Deer Park water guys were there in uniform. haha. Its a democratic time in DC, live long and prosper fellas.

This will help increase the odds of finding young ladies at the AMPs. I honestly believe part of the reason why there are fewer young girls / spinners at AMPs nowadays is that there are simply fewer Koreans immigrating to the US now than 10-15 years ago. Korea has become a developed nation (like 25th - 38th in per capita income rank depending on which survey you use). So there are more money-making (and more likely legit) opportunities in the homeland for a young girl. Combine this shallower "pool" with a tendency for the ones who do come over to cluster in some cities like NY, you can see why other cities like DC can lose out. With the new visa system, it'll be easier for a young "tourist" out to make some quick cash without having to commit to a life in a foreign land, so maybe things will get better.

Because of burn out and emotional fatigue(for the ones working in more then the R&T places), customers expecting young girls, owners wanting to rotate, etc.

I do not frequent many Spa's in DC, but what I said holds true for almost all of the MD spas I have visited, also for PA, NJ and NY (I have visited many in those states as well).

I did not say these girls can not make 100k a year, if they are working in more than a R&T, which is very busy, they can. But the 170k figure is too high, everyone of them would be happy to hit 100k.

Are there some American Asians working AMPs, absolutely yes, not alot but there are some.

Some been here 10 years? Yes, most do not plan on staying that long, someone without any ties would probably stay indefinately. Most of them have come here to make money to support their family back home, and do NOT plan on make it their life's work. How long could you stay away from your, mother, father, wife, husband, son or daughter?

What can I say? Took one for the team today.

I'm not from DC but travel through from time to time and have greatly appreciated the information the crew has put up here in the past. It has led to many great ventures as well as helped me avoid many bad ones.

So about 2 months ago I dropped into 14k based on a hunch that since nobody was talking about it, its got to be the secret garden. So I got buzzed in, let a hot little number named Tony (Like the Tiger) and she took me for a ride of my life. She looked Thai but when I asked she said she was Ko-Rean. This girl took care of me every way possible and it didn't take long for me to blow when she backed it up on me and didn't stop. We exchanged phone numbers because I live in Vegas and she probably needed some support to move. I didn't hear from her but I've had dreams about that one. Oh, and bbj which is a no-no for me but when she's got you in your grips your jaw doesnt seem to work. Definitely a first and I was laughing about having uncovered the place so good nobody talks about.

So I drop into 14k tonight and its quiet. Tony not here. She leave. Mamasan sends me a new girl (Jennifer I believe) and she's a grenade. Nice enough, decent body but an overall unenthusiastic experience. Turned me into a clock watcher if you know what I mean. At one point I was like OK, lets wrap this up. Also there's a nightclub close by which pours out onto the street so when I popped out there were 20 people there and a fair number of LEOs for crowd control. Not the type of thing you want to see when you pop your head up.

I will be driving a company car with logos all over it so naturally I can't park in an AMP parking lot. I've narrowed my choices to Star and Orange and would like to know if I can safely park nearby one of those places and be able to walk there. Please feel free to PM me if you need to. I am a relative newbie, both here and at AMPs. I was going to be in town for one day, and decided to visit one. Had RTFF and based on the recent posts, chose to swing by 14K. After nearly giving up, due to lack of parking, got lucky and found a spot 1/2 block away. I see what the others mean about it being a little intimidating given the high-end restaurant neighbors and the office building entrance by the stairs, but I put my head down and walked (downstairs like I knew what I was doing.

After ringing the buzzer and finally figuring out that the voice over the fuzzy intercom was telling me to pull on the handle of the door, I entered and was greeted by a cute, pleasant but mature tiny mamasan who asked if I had been there before. I said "no" but that I had been to other places. She led me to a room, said "One minute" and closed the door. Was going to ask for Joanne but decided to see what showed up.

Less than the promised minute later, an attractive 30ish (? ) woman dressed in a small bikini and mini-mini-skirt cover entered. Her name was Diane and she had nice large natural breasts, a pretty face (7-8), a slight midriff bulge, but great legs and ass. Asked if I wanted a shower (which I did) and told me to get undressed. LE is out there hard, especially since the nation is paying special attention to this years political race. They're gonna be out there hitting heads like no other year, this year. I can feel it.

You might want to warn the Jessup or Baltimore boards in Maryland. This is too bad, I have gotten quite the expanded menu there of late. They have to know you, but the paranoia factor is high.

No she wasnt new and I got her name, and I actually made everything right with her and she is good now. .

Also tried out sky (with the right money this time aha) and wow. I'd have to say sky is a better experience just because of the fact they have a sauna, and that the massage is like. Better / longer.

Just felt like a fuller better experience and the place is really clean compared to mist. Honestly, the best would be a mix between mist and sky. They both have thier plusses and minuses.

Take both of thier plusses and you have the perfect spot.

With that said, anyone know any chicks that work at these spots that are in thier midish 20s?

From what you and others describe, she sounds a lot like a "Nana" that worked at HWC in Woodbridge last year and also previously worked at Happiness and other AMPs on the East Coast circuit in DC, Philly and its suburbs, and "Hong Kong" (now closed) in Wamassageplanet.netury, Connecticut.

If she's back, asking for an "extra" tip is part of her banter (and probably to find out if her new customer is a newbie or a sucker.) If I recall correctly, when I first saw that Nana at HWC, she asked me the same thing, but I declined and told her I only brought $. We had an exceptional session and I became a regular customer. An experienced hobbyist here would stand firm and tip $ and the experienced girls know this.

Another regular provider I had become close to a few years ago told me that some of her other regular DC customers tipped her up to $$$$$ (yikes) per session, when she would have accepted $, but I can't imagine the guys who tipped her far more than the standard getting much more from her than what I did, and I kept my tips consistent at $. As Kluvr said, for 99 percent of them, it's all about the $ and if they can extract more out of us, they will.

Of course, the business operates on supply and demand, so please try and keep the tips at $ to keep the hobby reasonably affordable for all. As Lex points out, in places where AMPs are facing significant LE scrutiny, the trend is for house fees and tips to rise.

The Feds closed my favourite one next to the Verizon Ceter 3 years ago. BASTARDS!
