Not much of a disagreement I would say.

In my opinion Kim got lucky with his girl on Wenzelssquare and was unlucky with the B-team at the clubs he visited during his two day stay.
Those of us who have spend much more time in Prague will perhaps have a greater perspective on the situation.

Number of young Czechs having sex for money on the rise

Prague, Feb 16 (CTK) - The case of a third-year female student of the pedagogic faculty in Plzen, west Bohemia, who earned money as a porno actress is not isolated in the Czech Republic, Eva Vanickova who has participated in a survey of child prostitution and young people's commercial sex has told CTK.

The Plzen student poses on internet pages under the assumed name of Ashley Lightspeed or Kate, a local paper wrote yesterday.

It said that some students have turned to the faculty's dean saying that their fellow student breaches her study promises and tarnishes the good name of the school.

"Such behaviour is incompatible with the moral code of a university student," West Bohemian University vice-chancellor Josef Prusa told the paper.

Jan Minhova, pedagogic faculty dean, who consulted with a lawyer, said, however, that there is no reason to interfere in the case.

She said the student has committed no crime. "Besides, she carefully fulfils all study duties, so we are not considering her expulsion (from the faculty)," Minhova said.

According to a survey the 3rd medical faculty of Charles University in Prague conducted last year on 1200 students of the last years of secondary schools in Prague, about 4 percent of 19 year old female students and 2 percent of 19 year old male students had taken money for sex.

One quarter of young women said they could imagine commercial sex as a solution to a possible difficult financial situation. The same possibility was conceded by one third of young men.

"Commercial sex among the young is on the rise," said Vanickova who participated in the survey.

She said that this concerns "more luxury forms," such as accompaniment of foreigners and managers. The meetings take place in hotels as well as flats.

Vanickova said the young generation make money through sex also because they do not want to give up higher living standards that the media present to them as a standard level.

She said that in consequence, young people cease to be sensitive to commercial sex. They do not consider accompaniment of top managers on business trips abroad or above-standard services of personal assistants after the work hours as prostitution.

On the contrary, they consider a dinner in a luxury restaurant or a night spent in a five-star hotel as "a justified bonus," and they only classify street prostitution as commercial sex, the survey showed.
