I always try to be as honest as I can with people now because no matter how much the truth hurts.... IMO,... it's still better than a nicely dressed-up lie.

The truth is always easier to remember. Not only that... but when you lie... you usually have to make up another lie to cover up the first lie... and then another one to cover that one.
Just way too confusing at the end. Then, when it finally all blows up in your face... (which usually happens sooner or later)... you just end up looking like an idiot. For what? You know what I mean?
