Mr. Peterman is absolutely correct. I guess, based on "atmoi" and his touchy-feely, PC "love thy neighbour" talk, that I should be clicking my heels in delight that I might waste an hour or more in each direction, spend money on a bus or taxi, and show up for a confirmed appointment (Jimmy had left his number, and she didn't have the courtesy to tell him not to come over, etc.)
The lack of respect is clearly on the part of the MP/SP who thinks nothing of flitting off to anything else without the courtesy of a call to a client. What other business can you think of who would do such a thing? Do you go back to a lawyer/doctor/dentist who makes an appointment and then locks his/her door when you go at the scheduled time???
Did it take too much effort for this "Marie" to have left a CORRECT message for our friend Jimmy? Noooo...but politeness and ethics seem to only be deemed relevant for the saps with their open wallets. It's OK by "atmoi" for girls to no-show, but not for clients...well, my suggestion to Jimmy --- make a dozen appointments under assumed names and block her schedule and see how she likes it. Time to hit the teanucks of the world in their own pocketbooks...
It is time for the implementation of "The Revenge of the eforum.xxxites".
