I complained to Miki about the rate and she said the girls set their prices. That's all fine and dandy but I won't be going back and I suspect (hope) others will do the same. The greed of the girls will directly impact the business. Miki, of all people, should know that.

I think what's going on here is that the owners are promising the girls they can make lots of money in order to hire them. The girls set their rates accordingly and since for most of them it's supplemental income, they don't really care how many customers they retain.

BTW, IMHO, Marianne and her massages are highly overrated.

It's good for all those who ended up walking out rather that paying the higher rate. If we don't start doing that, soon $40 will be the standard rate for a HJ and the price of the other options will go up as well. It could be a market research they are conducting to see if men are willing to pay such prices. This is bad marketing skills, especially during a recession when all retailers are dropping their prices.

Yes, we must absolutely and steadfastly vote as a block of eforum.xxxites to stop this 100% rise in prices. Inflation is almost stagnant...1, 2, 3%...not 100%. It is not my problem that the owners may be greedy and don't pay their staff...it is not my problem if the girls are so heavily into debt to their local dealer that they need to get cash fast. If confronted with a $40 or nothing deal...that is what they will get...nothing...and they will soon learn that $20 is better than $0. I will call into action the forceful negotiating skills of Mr. Mellonhead's right-hand man, Taylor, and bring the service in-house rather than outsourcing it.

There is a whole lot of bashing going on in here and very litle review of the girls or their services.

Marianne was and may still be an excellent MP for those content with an atractive older woman, with excellent skills and options that stop with a fully clothed HJ, but a very nice HJ. Appreciate her for what she offers or just move on.

As for the other girls, at least a couple (younger and more open with their services) work in other places and certainly know what is going on around the industry. Will they be long term players at Lavanda's... who knows? But in all cases we should always gets quality services for the price we pay. Overpricing will surely lead to an MP's demise.

I saw the add in craiglist for Indian/srilankan girl raima, and I was really suprised and called them right away and the manager told me she is very young and good looking and etch. I've never been to this place and probably never will. The thread are mostly bad reviews. I wouldn't throw my money here knowing that there's only a 20 percent chance that I walk out satisfied. I'am not sure how many guys out there feel the same way as me. For example, if I walk into a MP and get a professional massage for the full session that I paid for. I would feel satisfied since I got my money worth, eventhough limited extras are offered. To tell you the truth, I would prefer a professional massage from a beautiful to decent looking woman with only a $20 HJ than a crappy massage with expensive options like thai, BJ, FS etc...Think about it. We pay $50 at the door to get a massage. If the massage doesn't exsist, then we've just threw $50 in the garbage. Then on top of that we will be paying $80 to $100 more for the options. If I want body slide, BJ, FS, i'll go to an incall. Atleast I'am not paying a $50 fee at the door for nothing.

I second your opinion, jimmy. As a general rule for maximizing hobbyist satisfaction, it took the words right out of my mouth.

Find myself going less and less to the salons, and more to indies. Less and less to MPs who think looks are a substitute for knowhow and the tease, and more to MPs age 30+ who offer fewer options but do what they do very well. It can be less exciting, but it's also more consistently satisfying.

Marianne used to incarnate the ideal MP in that group. Now that she's Lavanda & Company, she doesn't.
