... You don't reach conclusions from anecdotal instances in the newspaper, you do the math of the total number of vaccinations vs. the total number of breakthough cases vis-a-vis the number of cases amongst the unvaccinated.

I know this is from a few pages back, but this clear and correct statement so sums up the problem with those who cannot--or refuse--to comprehend vaccine efficacy. They suffer from extreme cases of confirmation bias, taking in only what reaffirms what they want to believe and discarding anything that challenges the belief.

We can all be arrogant in our certainties, I'm as guilty as the next, but I hope that if I ever catch myself considering only one side of any topic, I will immediately have the sense to reassess.

Again, asking questions that you can easily find the answers to if you really wanted to know. And when you do get an answer, it's always a lie because it doesn't fit your narrative. What an exhausting life you must live.

The answer to that last question of yours is common sense. The fact that you're even asking that says you're sorely lacking in that area.
Also, what do you mean what changed his mind? After front line workers and immunocompromised were vaccinated, then it was his turn. That's the same way it was done all over the world. Again, another common sense answer that you should have been able to figure out on your own.

I guess you're unable to think for yourself and need to rely on memes, twitter and Facebook videos to do that for you. You're probably young so I can't hold it against you. Once you get a bit older, you'll gain more wisdom and you'll probably be able to answer all these questions with critical thinking. Hang in there!
