Well what can i say about that ?

I have been to CP since 2000 and to my experience it´s like a piece of heaven

A little late in replying since I haven't visited the site in a year... but better late than never I guess.

Guangdong is in south east China. Basically, across from Hong Kong or Macau is Guangdong.

The nearest international airports are HKIA, Shenzhen Int'l Airport and Guangzhou Airport. I guess you could say Macau has an international airport too, but it's pretty small.

Girls are friggin everywhere in South China. You can't swing a dead cat without hitting one. Prices are all over the map too. It can be as low as 100RMB or as high as 3000RMB.

Hotels are in abundance in Guangdong. If you can manage a discount, places like the Hui Hua which was mentioned in this thread go for 358RMB a night. Some of the better know places like the Sheraton in Houjie go for 558 a night. In Shenzhen or Guangzhou, hotels are more expensive, typically about 450RMB or so for a 4 star place at discounted rate.

One last thing, these places are big. Shenzhen probably has around 7 million people, Guangzhou about the same. Dongguan probably has somewhere in the neighborhood of 5-6 million too. The questions you're asking are very general in nature, you won't get better answers than these unless you're more specific.

Read like the first 6 posts of this thread. People have complained I have written too much, so I am hesitant to repeat the info again.

Some quick answers though: Guandong is in Southern China, and the capital and nearest airport is in Guanzhou. The city I like is CP, which I go over in detail in the first few posts.

The next night I met with a friend who was staying at the Sheraton in Houjie, and visits Dongguan at least twice a year, so he is more familiar with the local scene. I've been to Dongguan in March this year, was too busy since to post, but it's better later than never.

It was my first time in China, and unfortunately I do not speak even one word of Chinese. I stayed at the Man-Wah hotel (somtemes pronounced as Wen-Wah) in Houije, choice of hotel was based on proximity to the trade fair and price, but next time I'll know better.
