I also have an Oakworks, great table, very soft, very nice. Whatever you get make sure it is URL listed. This is VERY important. Also, when we ordered our tables in school, they gave us two width options (wide and narrow-not sure of inches) Anyways, almost everyone went for the wider supposedly standard table, while the smaller folk and ones with less money(AKA

I have an Oakworks table at home --- love the arm rest under the face cradle and the multi-position face cradle.  Good even for Ankylosing Spondilitis client.At the Wellness Center, I have a physical therapy table, with only a slant face section, no arm rest, no thick foam...... so I've been trying to modify it with more padding, table warmer, more padding, etc. and still can't love it!  Too narrow, and too hard, and no place for the arms, etc.   It DOES however have an electric lift feature that is wonderful!  It's been an education to try to get used to another table.  Interestingly enough, my tiniest client is the one who remarks every time about how narrow my table at WC is ------ tee hee!  How powerful are those body images we carry around in our heads!Linda in NC

i use the earthlite  also. very happy with it. i might up grade later this year to a table with 3inch pading

Any recommendations out there for a hydraulic or electric table?  Anyone have one? Are they worth the bucks?  Are they noisy?  Can you make adjustments during a session without disturbing the client?  Are they comfortable and do they have all of the face cradle feature of portables?  I've been thinking about it.  Teachers used to say it would be the thing that would save my body.  I'd like to be able to adjust quickly and quietly. Thanks.
