Trip Report: Golden 18, 999, Sacrosa

On Apr 8, I visited Golden 18, they closed down the store when I arrived there around 9-10 PM. Do they still active OR only have a temporary shut down? Can anyone tell?

I would not have lumped Pudong's Sacrosa in with 999 and G18. A better experience in Pudong would have been the BoAnn Hotel Spa instead.

My next trip will place me less than 1 mile away from 999 so I cannot wait to see this place. Maybe I was just lucky on my trip to G18 because although my line up had less than 10 girls, it did have one hot girl, one decent girl and a few average looking girls. Hello all. First post on this forum. I'm a veteran monger from a different forum that I'm sure most of you have heard about. However, upon arriving in Shanghai, I found that the other site is blocked!!! (WTF?) OK, so after RTFF, found some places to check out: Golden 18, 999, and Sacrosa (Sarcosa?). I'm sure most you veterans will read nothing new in this post, but I figured I could help a Shanghai rookie (like me) by posting info about these three places all in one thread.

One thing to keep in mind is that all of the directions are from the nearest subway station, but this may not be the quickest way. I just used the subway b/c it's an easy point of reference on any Shanghai map. Also, each location involves quite a bit of walking from any subway station, so if you can't walk or don't want to, then don't go my way.

So here goes:

1) Golden 18:
Went about 9pm on a weekday. Address is 209 Wulumuqi Road. From Subway Line 2, Jing'An Temple station, exit on to Nanjing Rd. (W) and start walking West down Nanjing Road. After about 10-15 minutes, you cross with Wulumuqi Road. Turn right and walk another few minutes while looking at the buildings on your right. Eventually, you should see 209 address. At night, the sign "Golden 18" is pretty tough to miss, since it glows in yellow, but during the day, you might miss it if you're not paying attention.

Greeted by the host who stands outside and he sent me up the elevator. Surprisingly, there was some decent English-speaking staff which made things easier. Was shown the price chart and went for 90 minute for 880RMB (980RMB?, sorry can't remember the exact price).

Went to the fishbowl with a line-up of about 12-15 girls. Honestly, none were all that great. But since I speak zero chinese, I didn't want to haggle too much for a new line-up so I just picked the girl I liked the most. Went off to the room. Went on weekday, around 9 pm. Address is 999 Tianyaoqiao Road. From Subway Line 4, Shanghai Stadium S. station (NOT Shanghai Indoor Stadium S. station), take the exit labeled Tianyaoqiao Road. You should be able to tell from the blue and white street signs in which direction is the address "999". Walk down Tianyaoqiao Road for a good 10-15 minutes, maybe longer. You should pass the stadium on your right along the way. The sign for "999" is in red-neon, pretty tough to miss.

Went inside and language was a bit of a problem, but they speak enough English to manage. 1 hour session for 780 RMB. The place was full of Japanese dudes and I think a lot of the staff speak Japanese, which doesn't really help me, but might help some of you.

Went to the fishbowl and WOW! 30-35 girls. So many that I couldn't even see them all through the window. Many of them were hot too. Lots of 8-9s in the mix, with of course, some 4-5s as well (they can't all be hot, right?). Much better quality than Golden 18. As stated in previous posts, this shop is not located near the street. It is set back off the street into the courtyard of a shopping mall. Address is 1085 Pudong Road (S). From Subway Line 2, Century Ave. station (NOT Century Park station), exit out of the Zhangyang Road exit. When you exit out, technically, you will not be on Zhangyang Road but will be on the sidewalk that will lead you to it, so pay attention to the street signs before proceeding. Head West down Zhangyang Road toward where it intersects with Pudong Road (S). The walk is about 15-20 minutes through some serious people traffic as there is a shopping mall nearby. You should pass the Next Age (New Age?) shopping mall on your right as you walk. When you reach the Pudong Road (S) intersection, turn right onto Pudong Road (S). You will pass a KFC, Haagen-Daaz and Pizza Hut on your right. Keep looking to your right and eventually you will see a courtyard of a shopping mall, with a fountain surrounded by animal statutes. Walk straight toward the fountain and look to your left. You will see a sign "French Connection" (black & white) and "Steak King" (red and white, looks alot like the Burger King sign). Walk down the alleyway that is in-between these two signs. Soon, you will see 1085 address on your right. The building is named "Hua Shen Mansion." Go to the 5th Floor.

This place is not good. By far the worst of the three and I will not repeat. Rode up the elevator and I wasn't sure if I was in the right place since the name "Sarcosa" was nowhere to be seen. The place looks nice. Black marble walls, gold chinese lettering, nice locker room. But the girls and the bedrooms were not good. The only redeeming quality was that the price was cheaper (1 hour for 580 RMB) and the service was decent. I went in the afternoon, so maybe the nighttime experience is better. IDK.

One thing to note is that there was absolutely no English speaking staff here, so that posed a major problem. Even their price chart had no English on it, so I couldn't understand what they offer. Their English "specialist" whom they called over to help, spoke very little English. But I have no right to complain. My lack of Chinese is my problem, not theirs. I'm just saying that communication was difficult with both the girl and the staff, so keep that in mind.

I went on a weekday 5pm, and the lineup consisted of 6-7 girls, none of whom were all that attractive. Some were downright ugly. I picked the prettiest one, I guess. I will say that she actually had a smokin' little body once she got naked, which was a pleasant surprise. Face: 5, Body: 7.5.
