... - Only 2 rooms: one very small, the other even smaller, both very hot (no AC)
... - you lie not on clean sheets, but on the same old blanket used all day (all week )
... - bathroom with shower in corridor, you have to hop around half-naked...

I don't want to get in a big debate with Nemo, but I will lay out my take on this place:

It's not your standard rub and tug, which can be refreshing when you have been to so many rub and tugs. The place is not fancy, but it's certainly clean. Yes, two rooms and a shower down the hall. Jean-Claude is a little eccentric, but he's basically a nice guy. He doesn't trust the internet. The first time you call you will get a loud speech and you may not get a happy ending from the girl. But after that if you play along he is friendly and jovial, and you will get your happy ending. He trains the girls to put real sensuality and affection into their massages, and I've had some great ones there. He hires ordinary girl-next-door types who have never worked in a salon before and teaches them to do it his way. He's had some misses, but he's had some real hits as well. The current girls aren't as good as some of the "greats" of the past, but they're not bad. I'm keeping my eye on this place and waiting for the next gem to turn up. The price: $60 + tip.

I guess this place can best be described as inconsistent, a few great moments, a few lousy ones, and most so-so in between, that is why I have not returned in quite some time. As for the cleanliness issue, I tend to side with Nemo on this one, really not the cleanest I've seen, the dark, unchanged blanket instead of a white clean sheet, does not appear very hygenic to me. Does Jean-Claude what to save on laundry/hot water bills, or does he want to save the planet? What ever the reason, I think this practice unacceptable, and the dark green towels have not always smelled fresh or felt very clean either...
Muddy, who are the current girls? A short description and a brief review would be appreciated. And by all means, keep us posted if you find a new gem.

I have not seen a positive comment on this place since Christine has left, and Laura around the same time. I did not see any adds in the papers either. I assumed the place was closed.

For the last 2 years before she left, this place held on Christine. Too bad she did not leave a succession

Would be a good idea to at least phone the place, which I just did...

Spoke to Jean-Claude, said I have not been in 2 years to his place.

Says he is closed now on Thursday's for the time being.

Basically told me that he has firmed up his code of ethics....nothing really new there...

Wants gentlemen who are not predators.

But J-C seems just a intense as ever - you play along with him or you dont...

The only thing about the place is that the timing is to tight- just 10 minutes between massages & do not be late...

Also, he does not want an easy woman as a masseuse...
But she would still provide all the great sensual pleasures, tenderness and communication..

So here we go again, hit and miss until one or two gems are uncovered,
and not burned when everybody wants the same pleasure the other one had..

This is an YMMV place…

Well Nemo,

If you think that back in those days J-C manipulated Christine, you got it all wrong, if somebody manipulated someone then, it was rather the opposite.
The place was and is not for everyones. Once you deal and pass J-C, you can find quite rewarding experience there.
Its funny that one of the most extraordinary lady in the business history worked at this crappy and stinky place..

JC certainly has his quirks, but it's an interesting arrangement and I think it's worth checking out from time to time. I've been about 3-4 times since Christine and Laura left. I had decent experiences. The facilities are not fancy, but to me that's not so important. I appreciate a fancy spa as much as anyone, but what goes on between me and the masseuse is much more important.

I think it will survive, it has very low overhead, operating out of JC's kitchen and bathroom, using one bedsheet a week and washing towels and bedsheets once a week... giving the girls minimum wage under the guise of learning and practising «tantric buddhism» ... do call, ask about tantric massage, and listen to his speech on the phone.
