getting hooked on SRM and having repeated business all of sudden the price goes up what do they think there lineup is that solid?? there not the Leafs who raises there prices on there seats and people still the people are willing to pay.....theres tonnes of other massage parlour I say boycott this place....

I don't see much difference but then I suspect it depends on what you like.
I always go for the 45 minute BS @$180
With the new structure it would be $150 for 40 minutes or $190 for 50 minutes.
Think I'll stick with the 40 minutes and use the savings to reward those whose service is +++++

For others who have different expectations or favourite sessions, pricing may well influence a change.

I agree with Wheats. Let's boycott this place. Even at the old rate of $80 for half an hour, these girls are making an annual salary of $312,000 based on a 37.5 hours work week! That's more money than what Paul Martin makes LOL.

Taking a good look at this and I think this is a good idea overall.

I've always been a 45 minute BS guy (the 60 minute rate looks like it's up $10 overall). To replace the 45 minute I now can go an extra 5 minutes for an extra $10 or I drop 5 minutes and I save $30 bucks and put that towards gas money or future visits. This puts the price of a 40 minute session (standard at Utopia and Allure) on par with Allure and $10 less then Utopia. This also means that given the price difference between a 50 minute session and a 60 minute session ($50) means nobody in their right mind would pick a 60 minute session. That then gives 10 minutes buffer for guys coming in late or sessions running 5 minutes over time - scheduling problems should reduce.

Strategically, I think this is a sound move.

I seem to recall that we went through this about a year ago.

In reality it's a free market economy and clients will either pay the increase or they won't...

My only criticism about "the industry" in general is sometimes MP's and MPA's lose all touch with economic reality. Most people are LUCKY to get a 4% raise, which if you're earning $20/ hr is an extra .80 cents per hour.

So an extra $10/session if you're going once a week is $40/ month.... or enough to pay your phone bill.... it all adds up.

Since Cyan left the business I've for the most part stuck with Star/LEXA and my 30 minute sessions cost $40 door/$60 donation plus $20 tip for a total of $120.00 .

That's a price I feel comfortable paying, and both Halle and Shanti are attractive, friendly and offer good service

The point is, this is ALL business and as a client/consumer you have a choice. Feel free to exercise it, either by adjusting your appt's at SRM or going somewhere else....
