I know the feeling...I somewhat experienced almost the same in a way. Here's what happened...I called and made reservation. I came 5 minutes early. Then, a girl appeared at the door, but not her. She asked, "Have you seen her before?" I said yes (but, I did not say from semi legit spa). The girl went inside and came out in less than a minute. I was told she does not want to see me, because she's with another customer. I said I made reservation and was on time. Crickets...I did not inquire further and just walk out.
Hey it's okay. The right to refuse is both ways. No hard feelings. Not much time and no money taken anyways.
Well, it's wide open market out there with various selections...But, sometimes it's Californication..."You Can't Always Get What You Want" by The Rolling Stones...

It's really hard to say in this kind of business. I don't want to judge who is right and who is wrong. I have two different types of Spa businesses, but I have taught my employees not to turn away customers because I want my business to run smoothly and not disappoint customers. Because this kind of business requires quality service and also help from customer reviews to make business success.
