to clear the border.

My brother comes down from san Jose. Just book 3 weeks out with Southwest to san diego. It's cheaper than driving.

I live in Tijuana, but not close to Zona Norte. I don't visit there too often. I did live in Southern Orange County and could make it in 65 minutes.

Hey Chosen,

I live in OC also, Yorba Linda. 115 miles. I go EVERY sunday. Never miss. I park at the Leyva. However, I do Sat AND Sun on occasion and 2 to 3 days on every holiday. Traffic is a breeze 95% of the time on a Sunday. For me, the drive is simple and easy, I've been doing it for almost 4 years. Saturday traffic is usually a nightmare.

I usually leave about 10pm sunday nite, ( I have a fantastic 7:30 pm GFE every Sunday.) but will also ck in at the Hacienda on occasion and leave Monday morning.

I love Sundays because traffic is easy and the clubs are not as crowded and the chickas never rush me or their drinks.

I always ck out HK first for one drink, (I drink water) my buddy is the DJ there. Then off to AB for most of the day. Depending on the day, I ck out LC, Trop, LT & CC. CC is always jumping after 9pm.

My routine is probably like everyone elses, just different days.

I'm in Riverside, about 115 miles from TJ
I only stay one night because it's too long to drive back the same night and I don't want to feel rushed. I usually stay at the Motel 6 in San Ysidro and do the "park and walk across" routine. It saves me a lot of time crossing back. I take a taxi to Zona Norte and then just go with the flow. I usually make my first stop at Adelita's and go from there. If it's as packed as it was last night then I'll make the rounds to HK, MB, CC, etc.. until I can find a nice spot to chill and have a few beers before choosing a BG I like. I may also check out some SG's. After that I'll head back to the Motel 6 and get some sleep and drive back in the morning. I've only gone down to TJ a few times so I'm not an "expert" like some of these other guys but this routine works fine for me.

ok guys
i just want to get the feel for where everyone is coming from.
my trip is from Orange County and it is about 106 miles to TJ one way trip.
by the time i get to TJ, the driving drains my energy.


so please everyone post any of the following:

-miles
-where you are coming from
-how long you guys stay at TJ
-and what is your routine when you get to TJ.
-and if you live in TJ, how you like it? and what made you move?
