i tip $1 to bathroom guys any time i use the bathroom...

sometimes , i may use the bathroom 5 times a night but i get a real good service ...

tip the ppl who will take of you and your belongs..

i consider as money will spent.

It's been my experience that what goes around, does in fact come around. A couple of years ago, the smallest bill I had for a $5.00 parking charge, was a $10.00. The guy only had two bucks cash and the rest in pesos. I told him to keep it, and ever since there is always a smile, and a space that is watched. If giving a buck or two to the messeros for bringing you a drink, or a buck to the guy who works the restroom every second or third time you hit it, is going to break you or leave you embittered, maybe you should reconsider how you approach this hobby. Perhaps just use SGs. Or get a second or third job. As a general rule, the lives we lead north of the border are princely, if not kingly to the conditions of those we encounter in the Zona. I pity the monger that goes south with a chip on his shoulder over a few dollars. You can never over tip in my opinion.

I too resent the quarters in the tray. Most of us feel it is so we don't see it and they get an automatic tip. I have one friend, who is a mesera who insists they give quarters so that a guy can tip smaller than $1 if he chooses...in this case it would be nice if the quarters were on top of the bills in the tray and not to one side, where you may not see them.

I am a $1 tipper...If I see quarters, I pick them up and still tip $1 and tell the waiter no more quarters. I cannot fault someone who chooses not to tip if they see quarters hidden or under the bills.

It is just my way.

I'm sorry Padre, I can't go along with all your rules.I once worked for tips, and usually when somebody worked for tips before, they also become good tippers. When you work for tips, you think people who don't tip are the lowest forms of human life, especially if they have money, and still stiff you!

Tipping is one of the best ways to get somebody on you side, especially a mesero, who'll take care of you, get you a good seat, and give you a good run down on the new chicas.

However, if a towel boy knocks early, I would not tip him. But if they hit me up for a dollar, I'll usually give it to them. Besides I'm not sure the chicas take care of those guys, except to tell you to give the guy a dollar. Now according to Sampson, the chicas tip the towel boy, about $4 dollars to knock early in some hotels, in which case if true, they are making out, and don't deserve a tip from you.

Now sometimes the waiters will try to trick you with Mexican change, bringing you Mexican coins, and you thinking it's like a quarter, just give him the change, when he actually the change could be worth a few dollars. I'm sure I have been taken advaneforum.xxxe this way, and one of the reasons why I like just using my favorite waiters, in Hong Kong, I have three waiters I use only.

I never pay up front unless it's an SG, as most of them always insist on the money, and besides it's only $20 dollars. But lately, when BGs ask for money first, I walk, and tell the front desk it didn't work out, and they always let me take somebody else up for free.

when did bg's in tijuana, priced up to a c-note? fuck that, i would never pay that amount. i could find 2 providers from the states off of CL for a c-note.

I think u have most of it,,,,,,look i am not cheap charlie i do tip,,,,,,,,but my point is bring my change to me correctly, do not try to trick me. If they bring the change in all dollars, they get a dollar , they bring it with quarters , i take all of it and make a point to take my time picking up each and every quarter, so that they are aware that i am on to their game.


Do u feel it to be just to tip them 2 dollars, because that is the effect they are after, Stop giving them the quarters and eventually that little charade will end.

Never pay 100 for sex in TJ......and I always try to bargain down to
50. I always tip the waiters, hell they are bringing you your beer so
what if they bring you quarters, if they bring a dollar in quarters just give
them the dollar. Only a total cheapskate doesn't tip a waiter a dollar for
bringing you your drink. As far as the cleaning boys are concerned, if I
get a knock I wont tip them. If I dont get a knock and the room looks
clean I'll give them a few dollars. If they are all standing around in a circle jerk and asking me for a tip, I just keep walking.......
