Hi there,
I know we have talked about this b4 but do you who do massage treatments get calls for clients wanting naturist massage much??

I have had 3 calls in the last 6 months then last night got a text asking if i do.
I said no sorry i dont and dont know anyone, then he text me back saying he would pay £75 a hour as cant find anyone and he lives miles away!!!

SO as i said i dont do them but if there there is anyone out there who does, well you could be making alot of money lol or if any of you naturist then get doing a massage course as seem to be lots of people wanting it.

I do not give naturist massage, but I have had one. There is a practitioner here in west sussex if anyone needs one!

Not sure it is for me, I was far to embarrassed to be relaxed enough to enjoy it!

I think really as i said the therapist needs to be a naturist her/him self to understand really

I dont think there is any thing funny in it thats the way they seem to like it... you have to remember all it is they just like being naked at home and there is camping places so they can relax. What ive heard about it the client is naked and the therapist is to.

I have some very good regular clients who are naturists and prefer a naturist massage. I wear my usual massage gear (Lonsdale sleeveless top and trousers), but they are more then welcome to be naked as they wish. Most just prefer a naked undraped massage, some like to undress on arrival and then dress before leaving. I am perfectly happy with their choice - they pay, and they get the same level of respect, treatment and service as any other client.

Have to admit, have considered changing my advertising to mention Naturist massage available, but obviously emphasise Non Sexual.

I think there are a number of therapists who are relaxed about their client being nude, it is the nude therpist that is being demanded here - I think.

I did a male clients few weeks ago who was a natrulist but wasnt a natrulist massage....didnt ask if i did the massage but told me a bit about it and was looking for this massage too!

If any you that do this massage would like to pm me there number then if i have any calls i can pass it on if any more calls......

I am happy to do naturist massage and have done a lot. there are a few issues anyone needs to clear up before they do it. Firstly, ensure that the boundaries are clear. I never have trouble with this because i am very specific that this is not a sexual service. Secondly, if you are a man providing this service, you better make sure you can do it and maintain your professionalism, in some respects this is the one scenario where it is very obvious if you are, shall we say, operating with ulterior motives!

As an added bonus, my wife likes it when I do naturist massage because it cuts down on the number of towels for the wash! And before anyone accuses me of being a male chauvanist pig, which I am by the way, she is happy to assist with my work by operating the chinese laundry service; as she puts it.

I think there are plenty about Steve, its just that the advertising tends to be targeted at the naturists. A google search on the subject might help anyone interested and highlight local contacts.

Anyone who provides "conventinal" therapies as well has to be sensitive to the possible adverse reactions of their existing clients; who will almost certainly form the majority!. Perception is, I fear, everything!

Hmmmmmmmmmm, it is not my understanding that the therapist also has to be undressed - is that really the case?

From the point of view of my naturist massage, it meant that I of course had no draping whatsoever - the therapist explained that this made for a much smoother massage, no towels to arrange, no stop and start at various bits if the body, so a single effluarage move could take in toes to neck and back down again, glutes were included as a matter of course, in fact only breasts were avoided, although around above and below was.

I was offered a small towel if I wanted when I turned onto my back, but it seemed almost pathetic to accept, in hindsight I wish I had - my hang up, nothing to do with the massage, which was not in any way sexual.

My understanding of a naturist massage is that the therapist and the client would be naked. On a practical front, because there are no towels covering the client, the ambient temperature in the room tends to be higher than normal; accordingly it can be quite warm for a fully clothed therapist. I have occassionally done massage wearing a wrap or lunghi for this reason. There are probably two distinct groups of clients in this debate. Firstly the ones who want a massage which as you yourself say "flows" and don't mind being in the buff to get it and the "naturist" who wants a massage. Massage in a naturist environment suggests a lack of clothing all round.

It is alwaysnon sexual because a true naturist (or anyone outside this country) will tell you that the relationship between nudity and sex is notautomatic. There are in fact many activities that are argueably better done nude,including swimming, using sauna and steam rooms, sunbathing, and possibly getting a massage.

Ultimately its all about personal comfort and boundaries.

My name is Julie and I am a brand new member to the site.

I have beenofferingnaturist massage now for almost 5 years. The demand for naturist massage is fantastic but as ever not everyone offering a naturist massage - really is(youknow where I am coming from with that).....

My husband and I where naturists before I started my massage business so it seemed the most logical type of massage to offer and all of my training was conducted in a professional yet naturist environment.

I would agree with "switch" that far too many people link nudity with sex and this does get both very frustrating and boring.

However having said that I love my job and I have a REAL passion for massage, I am proud to offer "naturist massage" despite the stigma this sometimes carries.

See Julies reply below - naturism is a lifestyle, where as much as poosible of day to day life is performed unclothed - so yes a naturist massage should be performed by a naturist massuer/masseuse. But can you imagine the look on a Trading Standards Officer's face if someone made a claim for false advertising

If you are brave enough, please check you local council regulations. For example, I came across Redbridge Council's one where men are not even allowed to take their shirts off!
Another factor to consider is towel covering is not only for modesty but to keep the tissues warm.

True, but as I think has already been pointed out, the room is kept at a much higher temperature, and in fact I was laying on an electric blanket kept on low heat as well. I certainly never felt in the least bit chilly.

When I think how strict ITEC were about the non-logo white massage gear, I'm not sure they'd approve of working in the buff!

I can imagine though that no-towels is easier than no-underwear-but-towels: I'm usually grateful for a bit of elastic where I can tuck in the edge of a towel while working on an uncovered area.
