burt, really

What you're saying sounds like total BS

In WHAT DEBATE were metal's other user names supporting metal?????

Please point out specifically which DEBATES you are speaking of...

I can read the rules over and over again, frontwards, thru a Mr. Microphone, through a PA system, I can even sign the rules per ASL hand signs; I can let Kendricks dictate the rules while speaking in toungues, or I can have a Catholic Priest read the TJ Amigos Rules in Backwards in Latin [which whould be EVIL! :p ] but When I read the rules backwards I hear the voice of Sal Soprano saying "Fah Geit 'Bout It."

I am sorry Burt, but you lost this round. True, I am not good at the games of symantics, but whatever.

This is the last post, I am done debating you guys!

:p JD:p

Next step - VivaMex Detox Center ! :D :D :D Because they do not want members to mention alchahol either.

It has to be a GOP Card Carying Republican than came up with the "Fit In" rule. Hahahhhaaha. OMFG.

Of course JD can brag about drugs...

Hahahahahhahaha... It's funny really.

I think I will crack another Beer open and call Maddog and see if he wants to go to Rehab with me!

\m/

MORE BEER!

Read the rule again:

You may use additional usernames for the purpose of anonymity when posting trip reports, chica reports, etc, but not for talking to yourself or supporting your other usernames in debates.

The Flemming and other usernames were posting in support of the Metal name. That's the rule violation. (Multiple handles were banned and posts deleted.)

Also, as the rule states, the permitted use for multiple usernames is to anonyoumsly post trip reports and chica reports. That's not what was happening.

I know C-Diddy has always hated me. I won't out one of the annon mod'z - but he once fucked up and sent me a pm in his **cougHoo**ky** handle then sent the same message as "Moderator."

I agree - Silex wants to make money and to do that - he can not have so many posts that are humor (or attempts) - so I am gone.

---- I'll be back, gotta read up on PHb Hacking. :p

Also, looks like Nero and Melonbag need to be banned. For Avatar Nudity.

And TJ Taxi and Ben need to have been banned countless times For Flamming and calling numerous members "Assholes, Idiots, Loosers."
Also for numerous infractions with publicly challenging the moderators in a non "getting along" manner.

Next there is Pandering. and I won't go there.

I think we might agree - at least in part - that the "Rules of TJ Amigos" are archaic and selectivly enfored and sometimes confusing.

By the way Burt, did you notice that my comments were restricted in the "Tidbits and off thread comments" section and/or my "Metal'z Spastic Rants?" - Me and Grimmy were not palloting anyone elses' thread. In fact, I received a respectful PM from someone to stop posting in Jtull2's thread - and limated my posts there to respect the SG info users.

I am only guilty of publicly questioning the mods in a humorous and sarastic manner. I did not debate myself or hide the fact that Flemming was also me...

I believe Metalzz's displeasure with TJ Amigos runs to different issues than just a change of some rules over at TJA. TJA started as a free site for a clique of tight friends that mongered in Tijuana. It simply grew at a fast pace because of their focus on Tijuana and the handful of experienced prolific-posting mongers they had in their initial membership.

After all, TJ is a very difficult, puzzling and complex place to monger, compared to other P4P locals. And over 25 million Americans are within somewhat close driving distance of Tijuana, so a lot of interest in "cracking the mystery of TJ" is shared by many people.

But as you might expect from a site created, managed, and moderated by a few unprofessional volunteers, with close personal connections to a small handful of their members, the administrators and moderators display great favoritism and clanishness with their buddies, who are allowed to flaunt and ignore site rules while other (less connected) posters are treated harshly. Every set of rule additions or changes at TJA has demostrated this unfairness in policing board policies.

I suppose every internet site has its origins and cultures.

Funny you should say that... I just posted on Club Hombre that I need to write a TR on TJ soon; so that means I need to get there soon. Or head back to the Phills soon! :)

TJ Amigos will continue - but the new owner is someone who - thinks he can create Mc TJ Amigos. Who is his target market? Newbees. Newbees that will allow Mc TJ Amigos to be their all inclusive tour guide - for a fee. I can't blame him for wanting to be an entrapreneur -but he obviously wants to control the posts to the maximum - and that ruins it.

These are verifiable facts about Silexdog:

1) Believes his current business (Vivamex Spa/Massage) is worth $300,000-500,000 - and has activly solicited serious buyers for that insane amount.

2) Thought that renting those free standing Dolly looking self propelled gyroscop scooters was a good idea in TJ. Like people would actually return and not steal them?

Of course I am not the only one who has ditched TJ Amigos this past year. Why even bother?

But like I said in my PM to "Moderator"

Name one rule I broke? They can't answer with out lying. I never broke any of their rules.

I'm sorry to hear about your troubles Metal, but I'm afraid with new owners, administrators, and all kinds of Moderators, it's going to get a lot worst, before it gets better. They mean well, but it's like local government, where everybody tries to do their part in making a better world, but they end up doing the exact opposite with stupid rules, like not driving and talking on a cell phone, English only rules in the workplace, no touching within certain feet during a lap dance.etc, etc, etc. In the case of your old site, you have rules like no editing your own posts to preserve the historical record, and a 'fit in policy' for a bunch of misfits, etc, etc.

I hope when you are not at Club HOmbre you post over here more, but it seems like ever since you been to the Philippines you soured on Tijuana anyway?

Looks like SMD beat me to it: But here it is:

Multiple usernames. Link

You may have multiple usernames, but not multiple board personas.

You may use additional usernames for the purpose of anonymity when posting trip reports, chica reports, etc, but not for talking to yourself or supporting your other usernames in debates.

Again where is it stated that one can not use multiple handles in the same thread?

It does not.

My Retirement Announcement From TJ Amigos.

Thanks guys for the entertainment. It has indeed been fun. I have enjoyed screwing around online with most of you and been amazed at the writing talent some of you have. I have learned a lot about Tijuana that I did not know existed prior to TJ Amigos; and most significantly, met some of you in person.

I have been on the “boards” since 1998 – as Metalboots primarily. I am currently Metal on Club Hombre and MetalZZZ on a few other smaller sites.

TJ Amigos has decided to take a different direction. I will not follow the leader. The comments posted by other dissenters have been close to my feeling. But since last year, I have lost the passion to care anymore. After all, Milkman, who I respect to the core – only posts jokes himself. When was the last time Milkman posted an experience with a TJ Hooker?

I say this not to criticize – but put forth an illustration. Some of us move on in life. It's not a good or bad thing, just – like EL Fanatico – it can get old.

Well, I could do a JD post and go on forever, but I won't. The song stops here – Sad But True.

Cheers, and always remember me when you hear Metallica playing,

I looked back at the historical record of TJ Amigos, and indeed EF made a post in the rules section about multiple handles on 12/18/05. Verbatim, this is EF's 12/18/05 post:

"Multiple usernames.

You may have multiple usernames, but not multiple board personas.

You may use additional usernames for the purpose of anonymity when posting trip reports, chica reports, etc, but not for talking to yourself or supporting your other usernames in debates."

I see absolutely no directive by EF, nor any rule ever previously stated on TJA, like what burt stated here today about any flat prohibition of using multiple handles in the same thread:
When metalzz challenged burt that there was no rule as burt had claimed, metal was correct.

This "new TJA rule" is only in burt's head, not the TJ Amigos board:rolleyes:

This is my final post on this issue.
