My Calgary Massage Journey - Kijiji Reviews

Massage enthusiast, gym-goer, and long-time member of this forum. I’ve been around for a while but thought I’d finally contribute some insight from my own experience. I train regularly and value recovery, so I naturally gravitate toward massage therapy — sometimes therapeutic, sometimes more relaxed.

For transparency: I never directly ask for a HE; my philosophy is simple — if it happens, it happens. This list doesn't cover all my experiences, but these are some quick reviews of providers I’ve come across, mostly through Kijiji.

I recently moved to Calgary and was honestly surprised by how pricey the massage scene is here, and how limited the actual talent pool seems to be. Maybe I’m not looking in the right places, but I’ve done my fair share of exploring. I typically give providers at least two visits (sometimes more) to really gauge the experience.

We’re all searching for that hidden gem — maybe this helps someone in their search.



Halina (SE Asian, Late 40s/Early 50s)
Massage: 6/10
Older South-East Asian provider. Massage was basic, nothing special. Extras available; session cost $140 with HE, a little steep. Minimal to no draping throughout session.

Natural Therapy Centre – 4069 Visited twice, different masseuses each time (names unknown). Massage was average but extras (HE) were available both times. Minimal to no draping policy. On Macleod Trail. 6/10 Massage

Dala – Bridgeland (Thai Massage) One of the better professional massage experiences. Operates out of a clean home basement in Bridgeland. Authentic Thai deep tissue massage, no extras offered and never asked. Professional tone, consistent service. A bit far north for me but excellent value. Light draping. 8/10

Tania – SE Calgary Unfortunately, this was one of my least favorable experiences.
3 visits total:

• First visit was decent, massage was basic but somewhat enjoyable.
• Second visit booked for 90 mins but was swapped without notice to another inexperienced masseuse — massage felt like an oil rubdown, no technique.
• Third attempt: specifically requested Tania again, but was met by yet another new masseuse. Reduced session to 60 mins out of frustration. Massage was slightly better but overall disappointing.
  Would not return. Communication and consistency were lacking. 2/10

I usually try to take the positive out of each encounter, but like many reviews I’ve seen here, I have to agree — the overall experience was inconsistent, communication was poor, and it simply wasn’t worth returning.

Red 8869 – NW Calgary Attractive redhead provider, very warm and friendly. Surprisingly decent massage and HE finish was excellent. Only visited once due to distance (far NW near Livingston). No draping. 10/10

O2 Massage – Deep South Calgary (Kijiji Ad) Mature Asian lady (50s). Massage is fair, priced reasonably at $100/90 mins. A lot of teasing, no extras offered or asked. Draping applied. 7/10

Massage Balance Super 1 / Cici – Woodbine Regular go-to for solid, consistent massage. Located in Woodbine area, home business setup. Cici pays attention to areas needing focus, no extras. $120/90 mins. Always leave feeling like it’s money well spent. Clean space, good energy. 10/10

Ali – Deep South (Kijiji 0377) Mature provider, mid-40s, polite and professional. Decent massage, no extras. In a small apartment. Draping is liberal and she works close to intimate areas but maintains boundaries. Been visiting her on and off, monthly basis. Appears to not have posted on Kijiji since she’s finishing up her massage program. I believe she mentioned she will again this summer. May want to look out for. 7/10

Laura – Seton (Originally Edmonton Kijiji) Pleasant provider, good energy. Overall solid massage. HE available and offered. No complaints. 10/10

Traelyn – Kijiji Young provider, likely mid-20s. Massage quality is average (5/10), more relaxing than therapeutic. Service has improved over time. Provides some teasing, and HE is well-executed — one of my favorites in that regard. Soft-spoken and pleasant personality. 9/10

Hazel – Edgemont (Kijiji) Mature Middle Eastern lady (late 40s/early 50s).
First visit: No extras offered, decent therapeutic massage, great conversation.
Second visit: To my surprise, she offered HE. Massage and service were solid. She’s located quite far north but has a warm, welcoming MILF vibe. Have revisited a couple of times since. 8/10

Mila – SE Calgary (Kijiji) Mature Eastern European provider, attractive for her age. Edgy, holistic vibe — possibly dyed red hair. Massage is tailored and evolves with repeat visits. No extras, but draping is liberal. Originally visited her in NE, now located in SE Calgary. Price is a little steep but service is thoughtful. 9/10

Nikki SW - Advertises on Kijiji — decent massage and decent HE. Busty and mature, EE lady. Slaps her face with your junior lol but overall great space and time

Tania is wildly flakey…have had fun with a few of her gals but they’re always changing so you never know what you’re going to get. Current gal is bad at massage and strict with draping & touchy touchy.

Winnie wants a hundo for HE… or at least several years ago she did. Maybe not offered any longer.

I visited her two times and one day she’s the happiest funny girl and the other time, maybe it was not her day but really rude and straight to massage even asked her how I could make her happy and she said it was personal. Let’s say the finale wasn’t as passionate as expected!

Yea, same experience with me. I have seen her twice now, and the second time she was a bit cold.. she's genuinely introverted by nature. I was able to crack a few soft jokes to lighten up the mood, and left a tip to help make her day better.. She seemed very appreciative.

I'm assuming if you see her enough times and are patient, the experience will be more enjoyable.

I saw her way back in 2018 when I was getting into this and my god, she was amazing. No idea what the experience is like now, but let’s just just say a good time at that time was easier on the wallet than a massage is these days.

Well not 100% sure how it works, but if you guys remember her ad, she used to state that a male massage therapist is available as well by pre-booking.
So either she has a partner or like an open relationships type of deal. I imagine that might be the cause of her bad mood, and maybe why sometimes she goes haywire and pulls her ad.
