By the way, are you still planning to do Dragon Boat Races. A few years back (pre-Corvid) I know there was a World Championship in Europe. I think the Canadian Men's Team did very well. A girl I know was with the Ladies Team. She did sent me a group picture through WhatsApp. Not sure if I still have it.
A bunch of them also came to my factory 1 day with that girl to try and make something to help with gripping the paddles. I cannot remember if there was a short fat Filipino looking guy among them

True Story. The National is one of the toughest course here in Ontario. Many years ago, 2 pros were here to qualify for the Canadian Open. They played the National on the Sunday before Monday qualifying. They played the tips. Both of them did not even break 90.
When I was playing to a 5 Handicap, the first time I played the National from the Blue tips I was unable to break 90.

Amateurs are funny to get angry when they blow a shot. A pro once told me we haven’t earned the right to get angry. Even the pros that practise all day every day fuck I’ll shots. Golf is 20% mental and 80% mental lol.
I’d birdy the first 4-6 holes then start thinking too much that I can beat the course only to completely blow up with snowmen and hockey sticks (8s 7s)

hahah. yeah. I think the last one pre-covid was in Hungary in 2018. Needless to say, the 2020 one was cancelled. National Team selection is next week for the WDBRC in July in Germany. I was injured during the talent showcase in October so I didn't bother with this cycle. Oddly enough, it was the week after that when I first went to semi spas. This summer I am not going to paddle as much as I have last year, although it's still 7 regattas I am in already. Combine that with 4 on-water practices a week starting April 28. I'm also planning on running a lot this year, although not with run clubs because that's so 2024. It'll be a fun summer

Happy to run with you, I see a few guys running up and down Leslie St between Hwy 7 and 16th all the time.

I ran with an MPA on Leslie St before. She worked at a nearby spa and would leave work early to run...sadly she's no longer there. Very hot girl in great shape
