Kraft Case in the US

New England Patriots owner got charged for visiting an Asian Massage Place. I don't really care that he is a billionaire, he is human and he has the same needs as we all do but I care about two things specifically mentioned:
1) the police was acting on information posted on Rubmap website which detailed illicit activities at that spa; and this is the most disturbing one,
2) the police has video evidence of Mr. Kraft receiving sexual services at the spa TWICE.

1) simply reminds us of being a little more careful of reviews we post
2) implies that the MP was recording everything which happens inside the massage room, I don't think an undercover police officer would have offered sexual services to Mr. Kraft once, much less twice, so his activity with the MP girls were all recorded.

I am beginning to wonder if any of the local places have hidden cameras.

The MPs already have hidden cameras set up for safety reasons considering they are open late and some guys get there high or drunk.Look around closely next time you are in one.When they bring you to a room and say they are right back,they are switching on the video recording.Guaranteed

Most spa's have cameras in the public areas like reception. I'd be very surprised if any had cameras inside the room, but I guess with the tiny cameras that are available now it's possible.

This is why you should never use your real name, or phone number, or even park right in front of the place when you visit them. Make sure to pay with cash only. If you give them no way of identifying you you can greatly reduce your risk. Unless you are famous and have a recognizable face some low quality security footage probably can't hurt you.

I would think recording in the room is as much of a risk to the lady as to the client. They don’t want thier faces and body parts all over the internet any more than you do.

Look, the lady don't have idea hidden camera is in the room...has some simple steps how you can detect hidden camera...also you can use your iphone or android phone...don't be naive and think they not doing it....it's ready done on some places...

I think that camera monitoring in rooms in spas in Edmonton or Calgary are not that likely, but not impossible. The monitoring of entrance area for security purposes is to be expected as for any other business.

However, when it comes to the Chinese Communist Party's special interests, and the Triad activities for added revenue purposes, plus the intersection of the two where Triad members may actually assist the CCP's endeavours. Data gathering is a goal in itself, for future purposes and leverage. Use of facial recognition software is well developed in China, and is used to monitor the movements of some of their own citizens whose views don't align with the party's. Plus there is always a benefit in gathering any information on the travel and spending habits of wealthier folks from the perspective of some obtuse future manipulation. And why not extend it out to the western countries? More leverage for the future. Influential folks go for massage just as often or even more frequently than average joes. They patiently build their lists.

But for those of you who want to build a fan club in China of your massage adventures, may I suggest that you hold up a placard with your stage name, or should we say 'table' name and agent's contact information (in Mandarin) just prior to the start of each massage session. Or have that information permanently tattooed on your buttocks.

There might be in-room cameras, but you have little fear of them being used by law enforcement. Placing cameras in changing areas, or other places where people will be getting undressed, is really frowned upon and would probably be inadmissible. Good luck on getting a warrant to do such a thing.

So the real fear of in-room cameras is to black mail you.

The cameras are not for blackmail or revenues.Its there for safety.
LE is aware as it does its job if something happens.If not it is deleted after every client.99% of us have nothing to worry.

Should have added, that in the name of good entrepreneurship, for the few who are bold enough to hold up a placard before each massage session to build the loyal following, do include your WeChat_Pay or AliPay information so that generous donors from China can contribute to your future pooning activities. It is time to get out of that boring routine, spice it up and make each massage visit something that your loyal fans will cheer about. . Btw, you can even post your own short video teasers for fans on WeChat Stories and keep them guessing what your next massage visit will bring about. And with any luck, masseuses will be lining up to be involved in your gig. Success breeds success.

Ps: as for local LE and cameras in rooms etc, not a chance, unless El Chapo escapes from US justice and hides in Edmonton as a cross dressing masseuse.
