HPV (and other Vaccinations) - Gardasil-9 - Do you do this?

GARDASIL 9 is a vaccine indicated in females 9 through 45 years of age for the prevention of cervical, vulvar, vaginal, anal, oropharyngeal and other head and neck cancers caused by human papillomavirus (HPV) Types 16, 18, 31, 33, 45, 52, and 58; cervical, vulvar, vaginal, and anal precancerous or dysplastic lesions caused by HPV Types 6, 11, 16, 18, 31, 33, 45, 52, and 58; and genital warts caused by HPV Types 6 and 11.

That's because it's not covered by OHIP for adults....(US doesn't have social health care so it's out of pocket anyways) You can still take it, just will have to pay out of pocket or if you have insurance and it's covered.
No harm in taking it.

It is given free to juniors and seniors high school. It the past it was only for girls. Healthcare specialists realized it will save more money if offered to boys as well.

Again, it is never too late. But, of course you have to pay for it! Well, it is worth it!

Yes it is covered by your company's extended healthcare benefits. The better the plan less amount you pay of course. Out of $800, I think I only dole out less than $50. I can't remember exact amount. I did pay upfront on each shot, then later claim to my insurance.

You were lucky. When I took it it wasn't covered my my Health Insurance. They added it to the list the following year.... And even then, it's only 50%.

Very good post. Just wonder if there is upper limit? Like beyond age X the potential risk of the side effec is too high...
Gents if you can pay for HJ you can pay for HPV vaccination. And you should, to avoid that nasty STD.

In Ontario, high school kids get it for free. At least the new generation is protected.

for oldies, use your company provides benefits, it covers the cost mostly.

It is never too late to get a shot. I got mine several years ago. I paid close to $800 for 3 shots. It will be administered in the span of 10 months. The second shot will do it, but the doctor said last shot will seal the deal.

The vaccine is only effective once the 3 doses of shots is complete. It means existing HPV findings in your system won't get healed. Say, you got warts...Damn...those got to be burned! It is not pretty, it hurts and healing takes a while. It will come clean eventually.

I took a break for about a year. Did several STD tests and HIV. It was nerve wracking. This hobby is not for the weak of heart! But, at the same time you have to protect yourself! Go to one of Public Sexual Health Clinics. I am unsure if it gets shared to your family doctor. But, it does not matter. Just do it!

My mantra is....You only fuck for 60 minutes or less and then there is 23 hours left in the day! There is no way you would want to ruined your day for a fraction of actions! Fuck hard but be smart!

I got it 2 years ago and I'm in my 40s. I was getting tested at the clinic and the nurse suggested getting it, even at my age. I paid out of pocket but it was covered by my work benefits.

I don't know how effective it will be because I've been doing DFK/BBBJ/DATY/PS with SPs and MPAs for a few years, so I probably have all the strains.
