There were three other mongers there at the time, I overheard the cops talking. After they let me go back to my room to get dressed, I waited a bit, then looked up at the cop standing by my door. Young guy, maybe 25-26. He asked if I had all my stuff. I said yes. A minute later, he said, alright, let's go. And told the others I was coming out. I walked right past them all, went through the door to the elevator, and down the elevator. I saw one guy sitting on the table in his room, undressed, just waiting. Was kind of expecting to get grabbed in the lobby, but it was empty. I just kept walking. They never looked at or asked for any ID. Except for the first guy that burst into the place, the rest of the cops, including the woman, were downright respectful.
One more thing. There was a guy in the lobby when I arrived. I thought it was a bit strange, he was standing back at the elevator. About 5'5-5'6, short, with close cropped brown hair, a white t-shirt, jeans, and very big arms, and he had a metal cane. He was "on the phone" when I arrived. When I left, I saw him out on the street about 30 yards down from the door of the building, on his cell phone again. maybe he was the super, or another cop. not sure, but if I ever see him again, I'm walking the other way.
