You mean why the Vice-President elect (2nd in-line to the Presidency (the leader of the Free World)) was considered a priority? Or do you mean how a highly powerful public figure went on tv to get the vaccination to promote the vaccine to the American public?

While you wrap your head around that one, try explaining why Trump got vaccinated in quiet in January after he got Covid months earlier and claimed he was immune. January being the mandatory minimum 90 days after having recovered from Covid.

Vaccination timeline:

• VIce-President Mike Pence = December 18th in public
• President Elect Biden = December 21st in public
• Vice-President Elect Harris = December 28th in public
• President Trump = January something or other in hiding (90 day minimum after recovering from Covid)

Why aren’t you bitching and moaning about Pence getting it first?

One could argue Pence’s age would put him closer to the top of the list. Unless she has underlying health problems, Kamala had no reason to jump the line. She could’ve waited as long as the Pfizer CEO did.
