Very well put. I think it certainly helps to be a regular, and it is harder to be considered a regular after a girl's been at it in town for a while. My personal rule of thumb, however, is that with the right attitude, some patience and (let's be honest) good tipping, you can get the 'regular' treatment from just about any provider. You just need to register in their memory as a 'good customer.' It's hard to describe and is probably too subjective to put into a review, but I think when you first see a girl you can get a decent feel for whether you can open them up for better service - there always is an inkling with the ones who are keepers. It does take effort, so I do see your point re sticking with your personal ATFs - I guess I just find it more exciting to keep trying out new ones. One thing I do try to find out first and seek to avoid is someone who's just passing through town - there's no point for them in trying to build clientele through service, so often they just go through the motions with everybody that's not a huge tipper.

View's sentiment here re: Ruby seems to typify the problems with over-reliance on reviews vs. the unknown (aka the hunt). [note: i'm not being person here] Some thread I read in the past few days was stating the same. I think one criteria to consider is that as girls become more "mature" i.e. after 3 months, a year, 3 years...., they end up preferring their regulars, offering a relatively more gfe experience than a "standard" or "typical" treatment they give to new faces. (speaking from personal experience). so... a rule that works for me is that if you don't get a crack at them in the first few weeks, stick with the atfs. It's partly for this reason that i have never checked out Carol and Bonnie, who look amazing, but i don't want to be the 789th dude they've seen, when i know i can always depend on getting something awesome from one of my atfs, or trying to discover a new one. hence my affection for sunny (whom many find uninteresting) who i've known since the very beginning she's been in nyc and has always been a great time for me. (remember 49th near Grand Central Sta? where Gina worked, etc., 2nd floor w/ barber shop below, if you know this place, then you know how long she's been around and how sexy she can be.). Oh, btw, as previously posted, i think ruby is awesome.
