I take it that epidemiology isn't your area of expertise. COVID spread is a function of exposure duration as well as proximity. In other words, the closer you are to someone who's shedding the virus and the length of time that you're with them are critical. So being naked, touching, swapping fluids, for 45 minutes or an hour is pretty much the ideal setting to spread this. If one person in that room is infected, then there's almost a guarantee that the virus will be passed from one to the other. Whether the virus "takes hold" or not is more dependent on that individual.

It's a probability game. I am not a mathematician or medical doctor, I look at the issue by common sense and observations. There are a fair number of people working in Supermarket got the virus because of exposure to the number of people each day on their job. By the same token, an MPA contacts many people closely and MPAs are in close contact with each other when not working; also, most MPAs work in more than one place. All these make spreading a decease extremely easy. It's a person choice, I tend to wait till the virus is really under control.

Many of your assumptions are a bit of a stretch, but I'll sit back and watch the experiment unfold.

I will acknowledge that if you are young and healthy, the risk is likely minimal. I'm not sure that most clients fall into that category. I see a fair number of older fuckers in the places I visit.

I had a little chat with my doctor today about the immune system. He made a point that George Carlin made about the immune system needing "exercise" in order to remain robust (there is a another post on this forum where the poster links to that Carlin routine). My doctor says with all the exposure he has to sick people, over the years he rarely gets sick (but when he does he really gets sick). I am not saying we should take any chances, but I wander if with all this social distancing and obsessive cleansing that we are making ourselves more vulnerable to everyday illnesses? Or am I looking for excuses not to do housework?
