have you ever taken you car to a mechanic and told him/her about a terribly noise...then when the mechanic drives the car no noise can be heard?

well... i mentioned the viscosity issue here, ordered the coconut oil (which is scentless and feels like silk) and began trying it... and the problem hasn't happened at all! you guys are miracle workers...

(except for one client today who is SO severely tanned and has such dry skin that i had to use cream on her b/c her skin absorbed 4 applications (!!!) of oil and i still couldn't do the massage as well as normal.

i can't tell you how yummy the oil is - i've beenmixing it with geranium and clary sage and my hormone swings are way down too! yippee!

livingwell, you're not using clary sage on everyone are you? If any of your clients are trying to fall pregnant, clary sage is not a good oil to use (or if they are pregnant). You've experienced the hormal balancing effect it can have yourself, so you can understand they do more than just smell nice. Also, clary sage can increase the monthly flow (marjorem can decrease it, and can have a similar hormonal balancing effect to clary sage). You've also got to watch out with clary sage and drinking - it can make you get drunk MUCH quicker than usual.

no i'm not, mostly on myself.. i've been having huge hormone issues lately. i have diffused it with a couple of clients.

actually, i don't usually use the eos like that for my clients - mostly diffused or on feet. i seem to have a lot oif clients right now who are having menopause/HRT issues like me.

thanks for the information - i definately appreiciate it and will consider it greatly. i knew about the hormonal balance but i guess i never considered it for pregnancy... thanks again

On a side note, please make sure your clients aren't allergic. I used to use coconut regularly several years ago and now have an allergy where I'll break out on my forearms and low legs whenever I use an oil or lotion that contains coconut oil. Not really sure how common that allergy is!
