I don't think you're a stupid American, Golem, but what you are discribing is wholely beyond my experience. If you say so, I believe it, but you have to admit, that's not normal.

I still stand by my original Chinese (Korean, too) definition of young: She could probably pass for 25 in this country, especially in low light (and in the Korean case, lots of makeup).

That's what is normally ment by young in this business. All I'm saying. If you saw otherwise one time, well anything is possible, I guess.

Anyway, all this talk of underage girls is a tangent. I'm quite sure that guy wasn't going to lead me to any teens. I was just wondering how the service and price was at these places that I can't necessarly research beforehand. No biggie.

Child molester? Find that hard to believe. In this business "young" means "I can tell the stupid American I am 25," When they are really 35+. It's very hard to find any provider in her 20s unless you are paying for it.

Anyway, my question was more geared toward the qualtiy of service in such places. Of course, if I ever really thought a girl was underage, I'd walk, but I don't expect to ever see that in my lifetime.

I encounter a few sidewalk barkers everytime I go to Flushing.
On Main from Starbucks to the Church. Hand out biz cards or one page flyers.
Usually by old men or very old women.
Some carry signs on sticks like pickettng protestors, or sandwich hoards.

Foot massage or bodymassage ! They chant .

I took a card from one guy and he rushed me by the arm to a walkup above a barbershop , really dumpy place with middle aged woman and shoji screen type room partitions between massage tables.

I balked and we walked out, and he touted another place with younger girls. Did not partake, but I think these are offers of massage and not some kidnapping scam.

This is a 1st for me. I have never heard of that going on. I see sometimes in malls the Massage Mob may ask if you want a massage but not some guy on the street. Sounds like a dangerous deal and too conspicuous. I would think the guy could draw attention to himself and to his girls in a not so good way...

Almost 2 years ago was with a buddy of mine one day on Main closer to Northern Blvd.. It was daytime.. $30 for one hour ..very young Chinese girls. They had showers and clean towels but I felt like staying 10 min after I saw how young the girls were. I stayed like 20 min but gave $25 anyway.

I mean by the guys hawking massages.

I was in Flushing the other day when one of those old guys jumped in front of me yelling, "Massage, you want massage?" I glanced at the business card he was holding with a photo of some girl on it and he got really excited: "Oh, I have young pretty girl. You will enjoy."

I kept walking as I didn't have the time or inclination at that moment, but it got me wondering if I passed up a good deal... Should have bargained with him.

Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone ever went in blind with one of those guys and how it turned out.
