When someone is on ignore the threads they start are not even visible. So, if Stripfan starts a thread it will most likely be just an incel circle jerk since so many people already have him on ignore.

Because you guys have spent many hours posting your thoughts here. That is a lot of content to just throw away. I disagree with the sentiment of most of it, but I do believe in free speech even when it offends (although there are limits). My stance is not to silence or censor you guys, just to get you move your conversation somewhere else. A while back the China Town thread was deleted wholesale and without warning, and a lot of members were rightfully upset, including me. The OP had good reasons for taking some kind of action, but ended up removing a whole bunch of interesting content.
