It’s called sarcasm. I thought after watching Trump for 4 years you could tell the difference. Like the time when Trump had to walk back his public press conference update on the Coronavirus where he said to the nation (a worried and concerned nation looking for truth, guidance and leadership from their President) to “inject disinfectant”. He later said he was being “sarcastic” to reporters even though there was no sarcasm in his tone and he was looking at Dr. Birx and not the reporters when he said it.

It’s such a shame that not everyone gets Trump’s sarcasm. It was also a shame that the makers of Lysol had to come out with a public address statement after those Trump’s comments urging people not to inject or ingest disinfectant.
