Would you say that blaming 9/11 on space aliens also makes your own credibility somewhat nebulous?

I'm not a Trump fan, but I'm also mindful that 74 million people voted for him, and personally believe it's counterproductive to depict all those people as morons, or to say anyone who defends Trump should be shot, etc.

I think political progress ultimately depends on comity and compromise, difficult as that is, so trying to understand the complexities of politics rather than viewing everything through a Manichean lens has some benefits.
