I keep my sheets and personal laundry separate, just for the peace of mind of knowing that a pair of my underwear won't fall out of my fitted sheet in the middle of a massage! :

I keep them separate, but since I use the same machines, I have unfolded a sheet to put it on the table and had a little sock fall out! I do outcalls, so the client was there to see it. Luckily she thought it was cute.

Hello Bodyworkers,

Thank you to everyone that has posted on detergents. It's interesting because I brought in a competitor's detergent (Bon Vital), which is over-priced to begin with, but we tried it on some sheets that had some oil stains, and nothing was washed-out. Kind of made me mad because it was my sheet, which has a fairly high thread-count, but I guess now I can just throw them away. We have a couple more competitor detergents to test, but will soon begin work on our own detergent and we will certainly be looking for therapists to partake in a beta-test. Thanks again for everyone's feedback.

Don't throw the sheet away! Soak it overnight in a vinegar solution and then wash it with normal detergent. In my experience, vinegar does get the oil out. For strong stains, just increase the vinegar to water ratio.
