Considering latest political/media scenario(goswami barks), UT govt. will not risk it and will not allow to open dance bars.
Also once again number of Covid cases are on rise in Mumbai.

I think dance bar owner have to apeal in court to get orders for opening bars..

But what @Dumbaad17 is saying is correct. I had already posted a similar update earlier. There is a plan around the ladies bars already in place with the opposition. Remember the raids will not be through LE but through well-funded NGOs whose primary objective will be to embarass mongers and project bar girls as women lured, trapped and exploited by underworld in connivance with the government. So don't expect to be able to buy your way through the situation. And yes, Goswami and Republic Bharat would be at the forefront of this with their hidden cameras and prying reporters.

I sincerely advise all mongers to stay away for at least a few months even when the bars open.
The UT-DF fight is reaching viscious proportions. Mongering in Mumbai will be dangerous for the next few months. Ignore the forewarning at your own peril.

Time to look for greener pastures. Someone please update on the scene in Chaufula, Pune, Goa, Kolhapur etc

Bars are least priority to government at this moment.Cases are on the rise, LE is working overtime and stressed..
Any government would not want too add to their task list,of even maning bars,be it DB,OB SB.

Revenue other than license fees for excise(roughly 8 lakhs per annum) ,sales of liquor which is manipulated & Entertainment tax(orchestra license)government doesn't earn anything substantial.Taxes are manipulated or undercut.

If you want to point out to workforce than its everywhere- that its a lean period.

I was speaking to my friend who is an owner of a FINE DINE ,who mentioned that atleast DB& OB won't open atlest for another 2 months.As state government wants to minimize number of people assembling due to Covid 19,they already under immense pressure to open places of worship..local trains,gyms,dinning in restraunts.

All other available stuff is also very hard to get.Only liquor is easily avaialble.

No shaks on beach and ones which are permanent are not allowed to operate highscale.

It is possible because government wants to open everything and you can see now no. Of recovered persons are more than no. Of infected ones from last 5 days. This may help them to convince higher authorities that business and public places can be opened
