Secondly, its not question of knowing a law. What we will do even if we know a law. Visiting DB's is still a stigma in our society and LE's take advaneforum.xxxe of that. Irrespective of whether DB's/OB's/SB's are functioning perfectly as per rule, if LE wants, they will raid and catch the people. Once customers are harrased , business is down.

Its similar to you are caught by a Trmpfic cop for jumping signal, although you have not. How will you prove ? Atleast you can fight with him or fight with law for some time, that you are not wrong and you never jumped red singal.
But in a SB or a OB, LE will charge coats, gals of obsence gesture, soliciting customer and customers will be charged with being in "compromising position" with gals .Although, nothing such thing happened, who will fight ?
Knowing a law thru RTI, will you be able to fight a case that you were in bar within 9.30 PM time and have not done any crime ?

You are lucky that you were charged with IPC 110 and 111. Under these sections you were considered an 'abettor' of the crime - culpable but not amounting to the actual act. This means that there was an accused and you were charged as a person helping the accused deliver the criminal deed. I am not sure what the accused was charged for. Was feeling a bit dejected for not being able to go to Panvel where some of us met. So decided to treat myself with the OBs in the western suburbs.

Stop 1 : K9, Kandivali west
This seems to be a newly opened place. Walked in at around 9pm and was greeted by a blast of loudest music I've ever heard. Was guided to table near a speaker but good sense prevailed, declined and prefered to sit in a less noisy corner. Not many people there - i guess because of the loud music, there was a lot of MF interference too with unintentional 'squeaks' through the speaker. I think I saw a couple of the coats and waiters wearing ear plugs too, I would if I had stand there for a few hours.

Set up is typical OB with a band on the centre seforum.xxxe and girls all around the centre. There were 6 six girls, all with heavy make-up none exceptional. Literally gulped my beer in 5mins flat and bolted. When I got out on the road to catch a rickshaw for the next joint, could not hear a single thing. That was the quietest moment I've had in mumbai. Infact my ears are still ringing.

Plance - 4/10. These guys need to recalibrate the sound and reduce the MF noise

Stop 2 : Dream palace, Malad West
Was denied entry saying that some issues going on. Saw a few LE type people sitting outside the bar on chairs

Stop 3 : Paris, Goregaon West
This bar is actually run in two halls - a different band in each hall. The halls are not that big, mind you, so it does become a bit noisy. Have been to this place before so nothing new. There were about 8-9 girls in each hall. The good thing is that since the place is not that big, girls tend to stand in the space between tables - very close. Many of the girls there were same, a couple identified me and came and said hello. Since there was no novelty there, had a drink and left

Stop 4 : Sona Bar, Goregaon west
Was stopped Reviewom entering this bar too. The doorman asked me whether I have a drinking permit. Now I may not look very old, but I definitely do not look below the legal drinking age. I told him I do not have it and opened the door. I am still trying to figure out what the F was that for?

Inside - I've already described the place in my earlier review so will not delve into that. There were 7 girls there. The quality of girls here is always above average. By that I mean the girls are dressed / groomed well. Unlike some of the OB's where you see girls with gaudy makeup and shiny but cheap looking dresses, the girls here seem to dress up well. I guess it is representative of the clientele this bar attracts and the money the girls get as tips. Infact I saw a couple of girls holding huge wads of money in their hand.

I know a couple of girls who work here, infact had ones' cell number too. I am sure she did not recognise me as I'm not a regular here, but I had got her number last time I was here. I sent her a couple of sms's and told her Im in Sona and asked her where was she. It was good fun to see her trying to look every one there in the eye to find the culprit sending here sms's. Having failed to identify me, she called on my cell phone to see whose cell phone rings. I was caught, we both had a good laugh about it. Gave her some money and she loitered around my table for a long time. Spoke about meeting outside sometime - lets see how it goes.

Place - 5/10
Girls - 7/10

Am going to hit the Dahisar / Mira Road OBs today, will review on those later.
