First: Bill has retired, so its all mitz now... until todd vander hayden comes of age.
second: ctv news tends to be sensationalistic (making mountains, unsually in the promos, for the molehill stories they tend to run) ie: big fuss, no real juice behind it.
third:unless there's either a public outcry or free donuts involoved, our local constabulary is not terribly inclined to get off their f*t butts.
forth: The Mirror did a big "expose" on the industry about 7 years ago. They based most of what was written on an intereview with an indy (She called herself abbie when i saw her) who had spent 4 months dabbling in the business, largely, i think, to get written up in a mirror expose. When i saw the article, i a: knew it was her and b: chorttled merrily based on the extreme mileage i got from her (hand-release policy change to accomodate FS), but, to her credit, we did really hit it off. The point being, even after the piece in the paper, nothing happened jonny-law-wise.
five: The rub and tug has become a fairly accepted phenomenon: Don Mac Kellar did a fictional tv show based on one, the Trailer park boys opened one in their second season, in Toronto, as so many of them engage women from the philippines, they call them pullapenas.... so regardless of what the new Bill-free Pulse news coughs up, even if the cops do get off their f*t asses, it'll all blow over in a week.

I wonder if Oliver Klothesoff did his expose in the Mirror on Street Girls for the same kind of attention! Think he got more mileage after it went into print! As far as I know he didn't get picked-up for being a whore monger either. And it certainly didn't shut down the action on Ontario Street, but it did thin it out a bit.

On the other hand MPs have a fair amount of money invested in their places. And do pay huge amounts of taxes to the city. Not to mention the money they give to Landlords. I feel this is going to affect all MPs, Spas, Clinics etc.

Anyways my wooden two cents on the matter.

You are right in saying that they will do nothing because it might mean some exertion of effort. Bill Wishnousky stole $3 million from the life savings of senior citizens, and that lard-ass do-nothing excuse of a Nicolet graduate, Defective Dufour of the SQ, couldn't push back the Timbits long enough to go take some victim statements. But give someone a HJ and Armageddon is upon us. Lesson learned -- screw the senior of their money, just don't screw the senior for his pleasure.

They can easily determine that the votes are fake (or repeated) with your computer's IP address unless you are using a series of anonymous proxy servers. Deleting the cache/cookies will/might allow you to vote more than once but webmasters/webmistresses can easily tell that the votes were done by the same people.

I saw the report and I thought it was funny how the police spokesperson (male) kept repeating the same thing over and over. Well, actually, he only repeated it twice (but it was still funny). He said something similar to "unless there are complaints or minors involved, we basically don't get involved."

The reporter asked him one question and he said the above comment and then the reporter asked him a different question and he basically repeated the same answer. Very funny.
