What is life without hope? After some reflection and subsequent introspection about the failed relationship and what is important to me, I feel that I can make a better decision next time. I guess history will tell, won’t it? Let’s hope I don’t repeat the same mistakes as the past.

They sometimes forget about the good qualities that person had. Try not to make that mistake or you might find yourself going down the same path but for different reasons

I didn’t mean to be taken care of. It was more of a joke but having someone that can take care of themselves and have some assets can save me from losing mine.

Oh I am well aware of the good qualities. And I didn’t say it was entirely my ex’s fault. I don’t think I blamed her anywhere, did I? There’s a lot of good things in a relationship that you don’t get from one or two hour visits.

Then again, there’s no guarantee the desire for those “items” don’t dwindle in the months ahead leading to drudgery!
Safest and most practical solution is to find a kind hearted nice person and keep your “items” addressed and or supplemented elsewhere in moderation of course. JMHO

I enjoy the quality of the advice, and genuine sharing exhibited by the best posts on this thread. Some of this is possible outside the hobby with friends, but not always or usually for most of us.

Thoughtful and respectful discourse is one of the most satisfying expressions of being human; and in this case found in a forum particularly for men who partake of the joy the women of this industry share with us.

Yeah, ngl sometimes that’s fun. So there’s this girl I had seen a few times. Aside from the first time, we have been physically intimate now to the point where we don’t even put up the facade of a massage. I don’t think I could ask her for one anymore. The last time though things got super emotionally intimate. Got details of her suicide attempts, etc. gah.. so yeah sometimes no strings is great but do it too many times with the same girl and someone is gonna get attached.

Nope I don't remember blame being thrown around just giving in (financially) for peace of mind. I can relate to that

And yes there are benefits from long term relationships although alot of people here will probably down play it

The other good thing about transactional sex is you can just stop seeing them for awhile. No need to break up.
