awright, so today i specially got off my bed to see what this Harkatta area is. Reached at the shiv mandir landmark and then started walking in by the lane next to it. It was around 10PM, man it was so Revieweaking crowded and closed places. All I could see were SWs and no one else, only a few drunkards and some desi mongers on bike and some strolling around here and there. I just got lost in some lanes too. A few of the SWs started whistling and made some remarks for me to join them but then looking at the place, I just got intimidated. I saw some nice girls too in age of 18-22, in fact I came across a shop (it was a brothel only) wherein all gals where relaxing were relaxing and looked like a school canteen adda (they were in a group of 8). However I was not approached by any pimp but then I am very bad in haggling. If someone over there would ask me 500 for ST , I would at max get it lower to 300 even though I know (thanks to the fellow mpnet Mongers) it's in the range of 50-150 over there.

hws it?..u knw i had plans to monger this place long back but never got an opportunity...if u r looking at this range of 120 for st..u can also walk in to the lanes of SG 4m tram side and u ca get many chicks there 4 200 4 a pop up..but the only thng at times u may get robbed..but mostly tat doesnt happen..i hve walked those lanes and u can always walk wth 2 or 3 Reviewnds togthr not an issue'

If you are new to Kolkata, take metro rail Reviewom any place. Get down at Kalighat Station. If you are coming Reviewom Tollygunge side, the Reviewont exit Reviewom the station takes you to Kalighat temple. If you are coming Reviewom Esplanade side, exit Reviewom the rare side of the station. But a word of caution, you can not expect good girls / service here. Better, go to Sonagachi.

I just took a round there for like 15-20 min and I must say I would have crossed nearly 100 SWs by then all around me. I have never had such an experience, it's quite unlike in Mumbai. Well I wouldn't mind joining a fellow monger to that place who also wants to have fun and is confident of the area (and the language), who knows if we get ST in 120 we can get FT for 500 max and might find a lotus in the mud.

So seniors do let me know of the pilgrimage (if ever it happens)!

Reviewom kalighat metro I started for temple. mpter I reached Kalighat temple, I took right turn (actually I asked a rikshaw wala). mpter 20 meter the area starts. I reached the next chowk. then left turn, the flyover starts. in the middle a pan dukan (bettle shop) is there. there I went down by steps, inquired about a girl Tula. hey thanks ilovemuff. As per your directions I did goto check out the place yesterday. I was shocked to see all teens operating as SW there opp to Flyover. Avg age must not be over 20 for sure. There were 9-10 of them only, however I got a bit scared as I was just passing by them at the footpath one of them literally started shouting at me to come in. Thought if she's shouting outside at me, what'll happen outside. As I was late post 10pm, I did not see the MP. Btw has anyone tried and tested the MP over there?

I also checked the munshiganj road, was pathetic to see the SWs there. Went back without action.
