What is sad, is that most of the cities in Europe followed the same track. I saw the same happening in Eastern Europe. Instead of having pleasure in visiting an old city (even without hooker), I can just see supermarkets and car traffic.



This kind of place is totally illegal in France. This is a fellony and in some circumstances it can be a crime. If it stays within the limits of legality, it will be even worse for the tourist.

I experienced this type of scams when I was a young studient in the area of Paris. My reaction was to believe that there was a scam and I stayed away. One day, a friend of mine brought meto the area and let a guy convince us that we had to go inside. Ladies came and started bargaining for drinks. I argued about prices. They said we had to paid or we were supposed to have money. I found a stupid excuse to quit. A couple of years later, a guy in my military unit tried the experience. After a couple of drinks, they showed him a bill that reached a few months of wage for a young guy in military service. Then, several strong guys came and threatened him till he found a means of payment.

Just stay away from this stupid area.

I was in Montmartre a couple of years ago. There were these sex cinemas there. I had a look outside, but some Italian/arab/greek who the fuck knows guy grabbed me by the arm saying "Hey, don't you want to know what is inside?". I violently shook him off me. In my opinion a business that is run well would not need to scare customers in, so I left. I just always wondered what the scam was.

I walked around and saw some bars with older alcoholic/drug addicted women running around in their underwear, but didn't go inside.

France and Paris have became one of the worst places for mongering compare to many European cities as Amsterdam, Frankfort Fkks, Budapest or even Praha.
20 years ago, Rue Saint Denis was an amazing place loaded by hundreds of hookers at night time. With the regulations around housing (to rent a studio to a prostitute can be consider as being a pimp) and the gentrification of the 2nd district, you hardly find a decent hooker mow.

Yes these pages are an excellent media as a warning for us mongers... just regular guys wanting some nice uncomplicated sex while on a business or a leisure trip, or locals, who simply want a refreshing perspective.

Any assistance to prostitution is considered as procurement : sex clubs, private appartments with more than one girl, renting appartment or even hotel rooms to a hooker and even recently, the police is trying to prosecute people making escorts pay for adds on Internet.

On the other hand, it is not prohibited to be the customer of a street hooker or an escort. Paris as well as South of France and North Italy are only for those with money burning holes in their pockets and masochistic enough to put up with an "attitude" and sterile limitations eg. I just returned from Paris and I swore I would warn other visitors of the prototypic scam of the clubs in the Moulin Rouge/Montmartre area (e.g., Pigalle metro station 'sex' clubs). Clue #1: there is no sex in these 'sex' clubs.

Please read this and understand, these clubs all operate the same way.
Typically, they have eastern european girls who are fairly attractive, slightly overweight. Whatever. That's ok.

However, they are all scams. They have the girl promise you sex or strip show with happy ending, etc etc etc. Then the girl asks for champagne, promising that this will get you your happy ending.

Next thing you know, the bouncer will be at the table side, demanding $200 for the lap dance and $300 for the champagne, at minimum. They will strong arm you to pay this and you will get nothing in return.

I've seen this tactic across all the clubs in this area.

I really can't begin to understand why they don't just sell sex, like they do in Geneva or other cities, but they don't. Read this and understand. Any club that requires you to buy $300 or $500 in champagne for the girl will be a long road to nowhere. You will only spend money and you will get nothing in return. If you see a menu with 'champagne for the lady' on it, you can be assured that this is only a scam business and you will get nothing.

Don't get burned like I did. I have no reason to lie.
