NEW YORK- Charlie Sheen tested clean on a drug test, wants a raise and says he’s suing CBS for shutting down his hit TV show. “Because of psychological stress, it’s $3 mil an episode. Take it or leave it. I’m underpaid. I’m tired of pretending I’m not special,” he told NBC’s Today show.
In two rambling interviews Monday, Sheen turned an apology into another swipe at his “Two and a Half Men” producer, described massive drug use and said he only turned violent to defend his “family.”

Two girlfriends called “the godesses,” one a former porn star, and his two sons with ex-wife Brooke Mueller are his “family,” ABC’s Good Morning America reported after spending the day at his Los Angeles home. He’s suing CBS for cutting the show, he said, because “I’ve got a whole family to support and love. They’re relying on that money to fuel the magic. I have a violent side to protect my family.”

Sheen, 45, reportedly was getting $1.8 million an episode. CBS pulled the plug after Sheen’s rants last week, including calling producer Chuck Lorre “Chaim Levine.” “I’m sorry if I offended you,” he said to ABC about Lorre. “I didn’t know you were so sensitive . . . after you’ve been wailing on me for eight years.”

About drugs, he told ABC: “That’s nobody’s business” but agreed to and passed a drug test.
“I took more drugs than anyone could survive,” he admitted. But now, “I am on a drug. It’s called Charlie Sheen.”

“It’s not available because if you try it once your face will explode off and your children will weep over your exploded body. I woke up and I realized I’ve been kicked around, I’ve been criticized like I’m this guy with this bitchin’ rock star life and so, like, I’m completely going to embrace it.”
When asked if he worries about dying from drug binges, Sheen replied, “dying’s for fools.”
