Ironically, one of my best. YMMV of course.

Translation was fun, we used Google translate and a Thai virtual keyboard to communicate.

That being said, rather have one that speaks some English. Figuring things out took almost 1/2 an hour of computer assisted translation.

BTW, your sig, what does DPRM stand for, I gather it's not "Digital Property Rights Management" or "Directed Polymer in Random Media"?

Yeah, my worst was with a girl who didn't have a word of English.
I was drinking at a bar on Soi Eric and expressed interest in one young lady. The other girls at the bar pointed out that she had just arrived and that I would be her first customer. I was taken in by this and decided to go for it. All the way back to my hotel, she kept confirming that I would pay her X. Then when we got back, she went one round and wanted to bail. That was my last non-English speaker!

For a shitstir a few years ago, I had business cards (for my caryard) made up & after my name I had the letters DPRM.

If knockabout guys would ask what the letters meant, I'd tell em exactly.
If queried by others, I'd say.....Dealer Principal Retail Manager.:mdr:

this can happen with many people, but letting the mamasan choose for you ISN4T A GREAT IDEA FROM YOU; besides going back with her to her bar and paying her wasn't good either; you have got to see this as a bussiness deal, no sex from her no money from you! and ofcourse going back to her bar is always wrong as they surely choose her side of the story
