is Sophie an auntie? i didnt see her when I was there but how old is she and what are her looks like?

She has her picture in the kijiji ads and she looks like an aunty. Average looks.

But, I am referring to home based Sophie.

I stepped in last-summer to enquire about pricing for 1HR deep tissue. There was no one at the desk so someone came out from the back with surgical mask and gloves on. (Looks like she was doing a facial or something.)

I asked for the price (can't remember what it was) but was discouraged to stay for a massage as the place smelled heavily like chemicals and figured there's no way I'm getting a massage while breathing in fumes.

Have others experienced this too?

At massage studios within a hair and beauty salon? Yes.

Add the chemical smells to the noisy salon...and...no thanks. Tried that once...and had zero chance of relaxation.

I was trying to be nice. My policy when describing looks:

Anyone I am not attracted to....I just say they are "average" looking. Ladies do read these reviews, and women tend to be more sensitive about comments related to their looks. Generally, most of these ladies care about their clients....and would never comment online...about our looks or body imperfections. Likewise...I think we should be a gentleman towards them.

Now...I draw the line when ads are deceiving. For example:

Fake pics that don't represent the providers at all, or comments like "young, pretty masseuse"
a. ) 40 plus shouldn't be considered young.
b)the word "pretty" can be subjective. and
c.) If its a strictly legit place, that really shouldn't be in the marketting. Why would a legit place only want to hire someone "young and/or pretty" ? Their only concern, should be getting the best possible candidate for skills and/or training.

Secondly, if a lady were to describe my looks...they might say: I am "slightly more attractive than a bulldog." Which mighf be a compliment coming from a female bulldog owner.

Ultimately, review boards that want to include reviews of everything:

legit rmt providers, rmt providers who give extra special massages, and adult providers...need to see the importance of respect: to the ladies, to each other, and maybe even ourselves.

How many valuable reviewers come and go:
In Calgary, In Edmonton and Vancouver/B.C. areas....because this concept gets lost....over and over again.

Likewise...all three of the boards I mentioned have dried up, or could do so.

I usually only post when I think people need to be warned about a bad situation. Something that they should skip or avoid. On the sub par stuff, I only post when there is an inquiry or someone posts a fake glowing review.

On the other hand if a review is unnecessarily harsh, I prefer to speak up. So with regards to Sophie in Harvest Hills, I will say that even though she is not an attractive auntie, she does not rip people off. She provides an ok massage, time is never shorted, the massage room and bathroom plus shower are super clean, very peaceful place, no distractions. And she offers 70m massages, reasonable cost. So if it's in your neck of the woods, you may find the experience to be ok for you.

.I don't visit anymore as I prefer to either go for very serious deep tissue massages, or for fun, sensual massages with providers that specialize in one or the other. The middle of the road massages are no longer satisfying. They are either not therapeutic enough, nor sensual enough.

Its okay to be negative, if you get ripped off with time and/or money.

Furthermore

Someone who hasn't had a lot of massages, might find Sophie's massages great. Later on...maybe not so much. Likewise, Its still important, to critique...because it let's Sophie and others know....when they might need to improve.

Now...looks are subjective. And seems that's guys care too much about that. But, with asian RMT's who offer great massages and/or h.e.: it's very rare to find someone young and/or attractive. If they are, and want to give massages...they would use those assets...making way more money in an amp, or as a micro.

I personally won't offer how attractive a lady is, unless I honestly find her attractive.
But, If someone asks about how attractive she is: I might say: 1. "average", or "I wasn't attracted to her" 2. "pretty" or "pretty for her age" 3. "I found her atttactive."
I don't want ladies who may be great one day, or are great....to walk away from their profession, ashamed of the way they look.
Too many ladies come and go, so its important we have as many as possible...stay in their profession as long as possible.

When it comes to body type and age, I do have to tactfully, and politely...try and give that information. Too many times, these ladies are just passing names back and forth with each other. Its an epidemic and insulting type of businesss practice, and we need to protect each other from it.
