Phoenix Health "Rise Again"

Any of you guys watch the Super Bowl? One of the commercials was for Phoenix Health. I was always curious but skeptical about online pharmacies, but they paid for an ad during Super Bowl...gotta be a real company to have money to do that, so thought I'd give it a go and see what happens!

I went to the website and checked it out (along with others) and had some unanswered questions so emailed them. They were very prompt which gave me some confidence. There is a very basic questionnaire, and you have to send them some form of photo id and a selfie to confirm it is you. I was given a choice of generic V or generic C. It is a monthly subscription that you can pause at anytime, and you can get various numbers of pills per month. After you submit a doctor (mine happened to be in Calgary) approves your application. Website says I can get name brand so not sure why it was not offered...but I didn't ask.

Couple days later got a package through Canada Post express post, needed a signature. Came with the regular mailman. I tried the generic V. Worked pretty good in my estimation lol.

I was concerned that the prescription would show up on my health records but they said it was not searchable and surely enough it did not show up in the Alberta health app portal where I can see all my other prescriptions. I never gave them my health card number. Also, if you don't want Canada post knocking at your door for a signature they let you use Canada post FlexDelivery where it is sent to the post office and you get an email when it arrives to pick it up.

Just curious if you can comment on pricing between that and a brick&mortar Canadian pharmacy. I did stock up on Cs on my last Mexican trip, may be it is all in my head, they don't feel as effective as the Canadian ones; it is probably all in my head.

$54 for 4 generic v. I think if you buy more it is cheaper but I just wanted to try first. Not sure if the other online places have different costs.

I can take a 20 mg Indian cialis and don't get anywhere near the effect of 10 mg generic from Costco (I split the 20).

So... please clarify. $54 for 4 100mg tabs? That's a lot to pay for the anonymity and convenience of ordering online! I get 4 tabs at Costco for $16 albeit one needs a Dr. scrip and it shows up on Alberta Health.

4-50 mg. I know its a lot. want to sell me some of yours hahaha!

in case of accident every time I take a pill I write it down with permanent marker across my chest in huge letters. by the time it wears off it is out of my system.

Are you sure the price is $16? Or is that your co-pay? Standard pricing for 4x 100mg tabs of Viagra is around $40 or so.

Went to a local doctor to get a script (no charge). Pharmacy attached to clinic sold 20mg generic C at around $12-$13 each (in packs of 4) which is consistent with this Blue Cross drug price list (https://www.ab.bluecross.ca/dbl/pdfs/ABCDPL_2023_08_04.pdf) The dispensing fee was kind of high at $12 though? These are prices without insurance.

I am paying about $16/ 20 mg pill of C at my Shoppers, including the dispensing fee. Dr prescribed. I cut them in half ( to make a 10 mg dose) and actually gets me up nicely ( when stimulated- nothing like lips on dick to do that) and effects last a couple of days, so dfon’t need to pop one just before, like I I did with the blue pills ( they actually stopped working for me).

Just thought I'd throw my 2 cents in. Signed up a couple of months ago, for the one a day at $135 for 28 5mg pills. Must say, works awesome!! Ready to rock any time, day, night, Wednesday, Sunday, anythime. I personally love it! I do like not having to go back to the Dr to refill the perscrition. So if anyone is thinking of trying them out, I'd say go for it. Just be warned, you're massage budget might increase substantially like mine did.
