I think 5 is ideal time to visit a DB/SB but it still depends on the bar you are visting.

Most of OBs start at 9.30. And real action starts after 11 i think. I might be wrong. But avoid staying after 1.30

On page 732 i had put up a list ( after RTFF)

Its just a guideline

The bar mentioned in TOI article was orchestra bar operating without licence.

But after reading the article one gets the feeling of it being a Hybrid/FB bar

Why to take risk man ?

U never know which one is on radar...one can only guess....DBs like cabana I think must be comparatively safer as they r old and have somewhat better way of handling things...

One can only take precautions...but it’s the thrill of small risk that pulls us to such places..

Rest is all in LE and God’s hands....

Boss this Gandharva bar mentioned in TOI has been raided many times last was around 6 months back .. there is always tension of LE raid in any bar ..if the raid is by SS branch or on instructions of higher authorities to make case .. then it's pakka u have to stay in lock up for night and next day to court and bail ...But it's part of mongering..so enjoy .

I had been to an OB ( IMHO..place where people sing holding mic) in chembur in 2010/2011 (not sure)

And indeed people (a single guy) was crying from his throat

Not a pleasant experience

After RTFF , i think nowadays these OB people do lipsync

I wonder lipsync with whom ? ..original singer of the song ?

Still there are people who enjoy OBs

Right now section is bit tight specially in DB/SBs in Turbhe and Panvel as well. However LE are not bothering any customer...to be on safe side don't keep cash on table...stay calm. Happy and safe Mongering.
