Pick any hotel of your choise and book a room whit twin occupation,- then you are out of trouble. Maybe you could even have breakfast for 2.

This may seem like the answer but it might well not be.

Most of the 'better' hotels are not girl friendly regardless of how many you book for, I suspect that is why Marc26 asked about price range. The top end hotels don't want naughty boys.

baan yin dee is probably the nicest hotel in patong and they are guest friendly. 3500/nt on latestays

I think it fair comment to say that most of the top end hotels have no sense of humour though? I never stay at these places, but have e-mailed a lot and asked the question. I'm sure others have more experience than me though.

You might be right about that,- newer stayed at the high end resorts, like to spend my money otherwise in thailand.

Best thing is proberly to inquier about this direct to the hotel of choise, some on latestays mention "no charge lady"....

I myself prefer to rent a bungalow or an apartment where all this joiner fee nonsens is nonexisting.

Before i used to book on spot and bargain about the price but as i have learned where the small nice hideouts are in can now comfortably book here from my chair.

Just booked a 2 room + kitchen and bathroom im Patong 600 a night, no joiner

well, they dont have a problem at baan yin dee, but i am almost very discreet about it. but no problem hanging by the pool. actually many days it was me, my tg and her best friend and never a problem. im actually staying here in 2 weeks.
and i dont want to assume, but a couple of the owners are gay and they seem to indulge in their fun, so i guess they dont bother others

Very true for Patong but perversley the opposite for Bangkok where all the 5 stars are GF, but some of the lesser hotels aren't.

that is so true. walk into marriott, sheraton grande or westin grande and absolutley no problem. i had 2 girls sleeping in my room at westin, not a peep

This Hotel is 100% guest friendly, The Little Moon Residence, in Patong near Simon Cabaret, they have nice rooms, they provide a bar and a nice breakfast, and they never charge a joiner fee !

I have been to Patong three times on my own and made sure I booked a hotel that was guest friendly and did not charge extra.
The best was Banana Leaf Apartments, just behind 5-Star Massage.
Also stayed at The Limburi and Sino House, both of these not as good as the Banana Leaf, but still able to bring back girls without a problem and the rooms are very reasonably priced.
