Why do women love recieving back rubs and massages?

OK, 4 years ago after receiving my certification, I use to work at a massage parlor for 2 years. I could honestly tell you that the majority of my customers (I mean like 85%) were all women. Women in their late 20s, 30s and 40s. Most of these women were also married and had kids and such. Few of them shared me their unique stories...

But I dont understand, why is it women love back rubs and massage more than anything. I mean I did have a few men, but most of them went off and did other things (like play golf or something). In fact, the men I noticed (in my particular area were not to keen on massages) weren't too keen on back rubs compared to the women. They instead preferred to do other stuff. I mean obviously it feels great and whatnot. But I was still surprised to see such a large gap between men and women. It seems to me at least were more keen on it.

If so that is why you see more women and less men .. Many striaght men prefer females -- simply because the thought of another man rubbing them is extremely uncomfortable

A massage without a happy ending is really a big waste of time.

Women get more into the relaxation part of it without the sexual part. It's just the way the work. The relaxation is the reward for them like the handie is a reward for us... at least for me.

From my experience men enjoy back rubs as well, but are less prone to feel comfortable having a stranger touching them. This is also probably why most spas market towards women more than men.

Maybe they feel getting a massage is a feminine thing. Like getting your nails and hair done. Maybe these guys want to appear masculine, so they do things that are seen as masculine, like sports and such.

Most guys dont want to be seen getting a massage. It might remind them of a spa or something.

Stress relief.
Massage and foot massage is not something offered to women often, even in positive/successful relationship...I would venture to guess for most of us when our men begin to touch us it leads to other things so the "art" of massage as stress relief for all the care-giving and ladder-climbing we do is rarely met.
And, if you're a man (can't tell by your name) it's safe to say that the majority of men would prefer to receive their message from a female and wouldn't stand in line for you...hey, I don't get it, nothing homophobic about message if you ask me, but they're not as developed in this area!

the other side of the question is why don't men take up on that why do they hide the fact that they like it are they scared it's too girly? and will only take a back rub in the privacy of a home from a lover???
That's why the 85% of women go and men find more "manly things" to do.

I'd be using the masseuse certification to my advantage. You already know women love it, so you tell them that, and it's like you told them you're a single doctor. They'll be calling their mom after you give them a massage.

We all get stressed, but I would say that women are more comfortable with stripping off with a stranger for a massage.
