When a business telephone call is placed (and the call does NOT go to a receptionist, but directly to the correct extension), then who must speak first to introduce oneself? Is it the caller or the callee?
Thanks Mike. That helps. You mention of a "Yo", but I have had worse situations - sometimes it is very silent - that is the person picks up and then expects me (the caller) to know the phone has been picked up... that sucks... Thanks for the quick response. Let me see, how I can close this question...
 
The person being called must introduce himself first. It's bad business ethics to answer your phone with "yo".
