Sean “Diddy” Combs’ former bodyguard Gene Deal shared his suspicion surrounding the death of Kim Porter on Mighty Bolton’s The Art of Dialogue show on October 15. Deal shared his opinion on Porter’s ex-boyfriend and baby father, Al B. Sure!, wanting to reopen the investigation of Diddy’s ex, Kim Porter, in the episode as well. This comes as Diddy remains behind bars as he faces s*x trafficking charges.
While discussing Al B. Sure! increasing his personal security as he campaigns for the investigation into Kim Porter’s death to be reopened, Gene Deal said “he had every right to.”
“I believe Al knows that Puff has some powerful people or had some powerful people around him and some people doing some things for him that could endanger his life," Deal said.
Gene Deal then expressed exasperation over Kim Porter’s death allegedly not being properly investigated. He then stated that it was vital for her family members to get closure about there being no “foul play” in her death.
“How is it that there were no electronic products or gadgets around Kim’s bed? Her laptop’s missing, her cellphone’s missing... That case needs to be reopened… shoutout to the paperwork. It said, ‘Kim received a massage for an hour’ when she’s supposed to have full blown pneumonia. Who gives somebody a massage when they got pneumonia?” Gene Deal added.

Al B. Sure! conspired about Kim Porter’s death on Instagram following Diddy’s arrest
A week after Diddy was arrested in Brooklyn after facing s*x trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and pr*stitution charges, Al B. Sure! took to Instagram to demand the investigation into Porter’s death be reopened.
In a social media post, he wrote:
“In a nutshell, Kimberly was allegedly taken from us because she was set on course to accomplish what Mrs. Cassie Ventura did by igniting the Bon Fire, which brings us here today.”
Al B. Sure!, who is the father of Porter’s son Quincy Taylor Brown, asked authorities to investigate publicists who were near Diddy’s mansion at the time of Porter’s passing.

He also alleged that Diddy’s associates swapped pages of Kim Porter’s memoir, where she was to publish inflammatory details about Diddy.
In other Instagram posts, Al B. alleged that Porter’s devices have been “concealed” as a cover-up by Diddy in hopes of having her memoir disappear. Al B. also alleged that Porter’s devices had information pertaining to Diddy allegedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura. Al B. wrote online:
“Ms. Porter’s missing devices, allegedly already in evidence, unquestionably contain the critical evidence that have been concealed. I’m convinced that evidence corroborates closely with details outlined in the recently released public indictment document [Cassie Ventura’s lawsuit against Diddy].”
Kim Porter was found dead in Toluca Lake, California, in 2018. The cause of death was listed as lobar pneumonia.
Meanwhile, Gene Deal also claimed in a recent interview with Vibe Magazine that he had a feeling that somebody was going to die the night The Notorious “Biggie” B.I.G. was fatally shot. Gene Deal, who was then the bodyguard of Diddy, said:
“I knew that somebody was going to die that night, somebody was going to get shot. I did everything in my power to stop it from being Puff, and it wasn’t Puff.”
It was recently announced that Sean Combs’ trial date was set as May 5, 2025. The rapper remains behind bars after his attorneys were unable to have him bailed out, despite trying three times.
