When should I introduce my boyfriend to the family?

I have been dating this guy for about six months. He's met my parents and my brothers. But I'm not sure if and/or when I should introduce him to aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents?
all advice welcome.

Ask him when he wants to meet them! If there is going to be a family gathering or what not soon, ask him if he wants to go. If not, then maybe wait a few more months. Is your family cool? will he feel awkward around them? Will they accept him and be friendly? All things to consider haha. but its pretty much up to you and him. Whenever you feel ready to do that, go for it.

You need a heart to heart with your mum, being a girl she would have had this prob. and by doing this mom feels she's doing her job as your parent, and you are able to ask her anything, plus her opinion is needed and wanted. Don't forget to tell her she a cool mom.

As mentioned a family do would cover it, preferably a day time BBQ, where all are casually dressed and men are around the BBQ hot plate discussing blokey things. He then can be a member of the Beer and BBQ club. Now you've lost him to the world that is bromance.......oh well now you'll have to kidnap him and do testosterone detox.

I would keep it casual, over the holidays if everyone is getting together ask him if he wants to join. Everyone will be merry and festive so beat time to meet new people instead of him and you just goin to your aunts house for a coffee. 6 months is plenty of time to be introducing him i think.

Remember though, some people are shy and reserved about Meeting new people or even being around a lot of of unknown people so if he doesn't jump at the idea to meet them all don't take it personally or think he doesn't care.
