Yeah, hopefully they go do down soon.. But if they don't it is better to open up the economy right away rather then let people and businesses suffer further. I also don't how long further the government can give handouts for people staying at home. It is very dangerous to continue on like this.

I dont think Spas are on the governments radar for opening. Like it was pointed out. Its not like the government gets much in the way of tax dollars.

We're all going to be paying for these handouts soon through tax hikes. Unless Turdo still thinks the budget will balance itself.

There's no requirement that government budgets balance, sure it's good, and you don't want the borrowing to get too over-leveraged and wreck your bond-rating, but governing budgets are not the same as household budgets. Case in point: the Brits only finished paying for the costs of the Napoleonic wars (1796-1815) in the last 10 years.

You as an individual householder have no access to bond markets; government and large business cannot function without them.

It's in country's best interest to balance budgets. Pun intended. When budgets are not balanced, the taxpayers are paying more in interest. I would rather have my money spent on road infrastructure, heath care, disease control. When we are paying interest on top of interest, we don't gain traction.
