She broke up w/ his 1st boyfriend. Then she had another relationship and unfortunately she became a single mom. After 4 years, she and his 1st boyfriend meet again. According to the guy, he can accept her son and treat him as his own child.

But even before, the guy was not able to let her meet his parents or introduce her as his girl friend. And now that she have a son and the more the situation is complicated, his boyfriend still have no time to let her be introduce to his family.
