When is God going to introduce me to the right person?

I'm nearing my 20th birthday and have never been in a relationship, just one date. I'm not a horrible person who just doesn't deserve happiness, i'm just normal. I'm not the kind of person who reads the Bible daily (or weekly for that matter), I just love God and pray to him/thank him when i need to.

Do you have any advice in this matter or some words of hope/wisdom? I'm feeling rather blue.

Go out and try to meet someone. Take an active role in the process.

God doesn't even exist, let alone run a dating service. Go where the guys are...eventually you will find someone.

time will keep its way. you have to be patient and wait that is all i can say sometimes its best to wait cause waiting makes it only better and you will meet the person of your dreams and then you will see how great it is. you can just help by being in the right places go to church, library grocery stores and go around palces are for good peopel bowling alleys are good places to. you will meet someone just takes time and its not a rush to gte married be very selective also and not rush into anythign too fast.

How active can you expect God to be in your life... if you spend most of your time ignoring him?

If you read and pray daily... if you become follower of Jesus Christ, and devote your life to him. Then you will start receiving blessing from God.

I can't speak as to the timetable of you meeting the person you are supposed to be with... but I can say this, if you don't develop a relationship with God, all the relationship you try to develop with men will fail.

I'm not a believer, but the old adage, "God helps those who help themselves", isn't the worst of advice. You have to create your own opportunities in life, things rarely just 'come to' people.

First of all, I am an atheist. so if this bothers you. kindly stop reading and look at the next post.
Not everyone is "destined" to be with someone, but that doesn't mean you are that person doomed to a lonely life. perhaps you need to try a little harder, try not to alienate yourself from people based on the fact that they are not Christian. there are plenty of good people out there that do not profess a religion... secondly, why do you think you have to be in a relationship, and if so, you must know yourself already, right? because if you don't know yourself, nobody is going to want to get to know you unless they are looking for shallow physical needs of their own!

Ooof. Desire KILLS happiness. Just keep your focus on all the good in your life and be grateful. Don't give the lack of anything a pedestal. Focus on God and he'll end up giving you more than you could imagine. And don't settle for something less that you deserve.

Stop focusing so much on finding someone - you are focusing on lack, and therefore, creating more of it. Instead, focus on improving yourself. Become the type of person you are trying to attract, and then they will be attracted into your life. Like attracts like.
